I tried to set this up, and party 2 falls short on cost. Im at 302/332 with the 6* chrome lead and 4 7*s in first party, and 2 7*s in 2nd and my shera. So im missing 2 more units. Im at level 149 now but slowly getting higher so looks like this is going to have to wait a while

I don't recall exactly what I did for this but I think I had:
Tridon 7* (lead), Zeruiah 7*, Avant 7*, Shera 6*, ____ (not sure what this was, when I looked at my trial group it showed 7* Melchio), friend may have been Reud or Semira. I just followed the guide on the wikia and powered through. I f'ed up on the Trial 005 though because I didn't calculate the health bar right (need me a health bar comparison for %s like Lucius guide does) and I had deaths. Was just trying it though since I was about to level and had extra energy.

Are the units from the Trials any good? Cardes / Ark / Lucius / etc? I never see them mentioned.

Older ones are outdated. Ark and Lucius are good because they have 7*.

Maxwell, Cardes, Zev, Alfa are all mediocre-ok by today's standards. Maxwell Cardes and Alfa have a unit function that their SBB have double hit checks (so maxwell's 30 hit SBB can produce 60 BC per target).

Ark is a great free unit offering a +35% stat boost LS. His BB has average damage modifiers for a 7* unit but it gives a +1 hit count buff for three turns. Very useful and stacks with hit count buffs from ES and UBB. His SBB has an amazing damage moodier (710%, the standard is like 550%) and has a +140% attack buff too I think. He's a great DD type unit.

Gazia is another trial unit (from X4) and one of the best attacking mitigators in the game.

Lucius, I don't remember his skill set but he's a great utility unit and has the highest high count on an UBB (70 hits).

Can't say I'm overly impressed with the new units, but one thing I will say is Vermillion's design is fucking BAD ASS. Seriously, double headed sabertooth tiger on fire riding it with a saddle screams awesomeness to me.

I wouldn't say outdated because if we ever get that Frontier Gate that JP just got (where we can only use 6* units), Maxwell and Alfa are going to be badass there.

This is why I'm leaving duplicate units, at 6*, unless there's a great need for two of a unit.

Still no UoC for me.....

There's a whole truck-load of 6* units that don't see any action, so it's a way for them to be used again.

RC6 promotion fight (Shusui) is giving me some trouble. Been doing Ruel friend. Should I bring Avant or a status nullifier instead?

My damage against him is very slow as well.

Think I did:
Avant 7* (lead for damage and hp), Tridon 7*, Zeruiah 7*, Shera 6*, Rinon 6*, friend may have been Haile or Reud (I used Deimos friend in the actual RC6 which was helpful so it may be helpful here as well as Rhoa/Chrome).

If anyone died or for some RARE reason my Shera couldn't BB, I would run, heal up/battle to get SBBs up, then go back in. I had like 4-6 min left.

Edit: Semira may also be good since I think it can apply Weakness and potentially Paralyze on a part, or at least it did in the actual RC6.

I dont have Semira but I can bring Avant friend and use Haile lead. What do Rinon and Shira do? I may have something comparable.

I just 7* Piany so maybe she should go in for Reis?

Rinon was my healer/status remove/negator and Shira was my mitigator which also helps with BB gauge.

Not sure about Piany as I don't have her. I could be wrong but doesn't she clash with Avant?

Not sure if she does or doesn't but she is a status removal / negator + spark pumps BB + ATK relative to REC boost. If she clashes with Avant I could maybe use Ruel for 35% boost to all parameters?

I see her being recommended a lot. If her ES hits whole party then that fixes my worry about status effects.

If you're constantly wiping to Shusui refer back to one of my earlier posts about his gimmick. This is a fight where you can't just spam BB/SBB to win. You actually have to manually fight and pay attention to what you're doing each turn.

I guess i was too late and my lazyness got the best of me. Beat shusui first try following his stances. But i have no rc6 to farm. much regret.

I cant find the stuff about stances for RC5, only for RC6.

Definitely liking Piany over Reis anyway though since her DEF buff on SBB gives all my units 9k+ DEF which has been amazing.

Gonna try Shusui once I get her 120'd. Already imped her.
