Ok thanks I'll try it out
happy new year! no UoC in my mailbox yet![]()
I have a series of questions regarding bb/sbb orders and attacking.
1) Are the buffs from bb/sbb start the moment they are activated (aka before the actual attack)?
2) Can buffs from bb/sbb still affect people mid swing/attack animation (but prior to actually hitting the enemy)?
3) Are regular attacks/bb/sbb considered "1" hit chance to proc anything (like crit)?
From my experience in RC6 they are the same. Ended with only one hair. Lots of leechers/people not knowing about order (likely) though so had many failed runs when just one guy + me most of the time aren't enough.
Critical hit chance is calculated upon activation. That's why you want your Crit buffer to go first so everyone else gets a better chance.
Everything else can be applied and recalculated mid swing. Also, buffs will overwrite each other based on order, not on potency. The only time this is not true is with UBB buffs; those will stack with similar buffs from BB/SBB.
Ah, I been doing normally like this:
1) Shera (back, easier spark when first there)
2) Tridon (front; so Zeruiah's overwrites with better BC drop)
3) Zeruiah (front; reason above + elemental change before people start hitting)
4) Avant (front; can begin hitting with the rest to spark easier and for his effects to kick in)
5) Healer (back; currently not a damaging healer)
Friend spot varies, if similar to Avant have them go before Avant.
But now that you brought up about Crit, it looks like I need to do Avant sooner before Shera and put him in the back and if I use Hadaron over Tridon to use him earlier as well before Avant.
You mentioned crit chance is upon activation, does hit count up begin on activation or can be done mid-swing as well?
Remember that only Avant's BB gives critical hit rate buff. His SBB does not. And the buff lasts for three turns. So you need to use his BB every three turns, or use another unit that has it on their SBB.
Hit count up is calculated upon activation as well. But hit count up ONLY applies to normal attacks, not BB/SBB/UBB.
Won with 7* Piany lead + Ruel friend + 6* tridon / adel / deer + 7* haile.
Didnt mind the stances. Watching movies and drinking champagne with GF. Won on last life with 4/6 still alive.
Avant's BB mod is calculated upon activation.
But it's important to remember that this "order" only really applies to when you're trying to maximize your damage in a single turn (like OTKO set ups). When it comes to stuff like raids, the order isn't as important since you're fighting an enemy for 15+ turns and will have all the buffs active for every single turn except the first one.

You need a unit that that can Paralyze (Luther) and Curse (Phee). If you can't do that, you're going to have a bad time.
You can do a two squad set up. Suicide squad against Zebra and then your real team for Cardes Luther and Phee once you get Zebra to do his three Instant KO moves.
Suicide/Throw away squad can be something like
Chrome Lead and Gazia friend
Rize
Libera
Michelle
Ultor
Real squad for Cardes can be
Piany Lead
Semira 7* friend (for status ailments because your units are inadequate)
Shera
Kikuri
Tridon
Farlon
Or...
Piany lead
Gazia friend
Kikuri
Priscilla
Tridon
Farlon
If i changed my setup to maybe Diana Lead, kikuri/semira, Tridon, Farlon, Shera Avant/ ultor would that work for a single squad?
Got a krantz last night in the 3 gem summon as well.
Also not sure if i listed my nalmika in my unit list or not.
Also fuck. didnt realize SHS was over and i did a 10 summon -.-
Still no unit of choice, stupid ass gumi. I swear i think the reason i didn't get it is because i put the entire name of the 7* version of the character instead of just its name.
Gave it a try with the sacrifice squad you recommended and a shitsquad of my own creation (Piany, shera tridon lvl 1 6 star hadaron [i forgot to level his BB too lolol] and a miracle totem (who died on turn 1)) and got cardes to 75%. Luther was just annoying as hell, and the one time i needed him there, he died and didnt return for like 2 turns so i ran out of BC. and the boss using deadly whatever randomly was bullshit too. Desperately needed more damage in the 2nd squad.
Luther will wipe all buffs (mitigation included) on a target. If he buff wipes someone and then Cardes does his Deadly Hold move, they're going to die.
That's why paralyze is important.
Level 199 if you're using 40 cost 7*. 215ish if you have 42 cost units.
