I had been using Deimos friends for status stuff really, not for taunt.

So good to evolve Ultor (B) to 7*? I have the Ultor Blades which is why I started this whole process.

If you have the mats, and can use him, then go for it. Just be careful that some bosses buff wipe, then murder Taunt units, as IIRC, they'll remove taunt and then focus fire him down anyways.

Attempting again. First party, Diana lead, tia, luther, rize, arus, deimos friend
2nd Piany, ulkina, shera, priscilla, Farlon, Tridon, Cardes friend
And fuck. just realized when zebra is at 1% i forgot a healer.
Nevermind, doesnt seem i need one with all the sparks going off with piany leader skill.
Got him below 50%, he regened up to about 65, get him down to about 55, and he uses deadly end and wipes farlon. I thought he only used at 50%.
And just realized priscillas paralysis is only on basic attack not sbb/bb hits
Also. FUCK those heals. he just did deadly end twice at 30%
and then the next fucking turn, uses it again twice after summoning.
Also, endless did fuckall for damage, so weak.
5% deadly end again and kills tridon with no more revives after resummoning >.<
Fuck these trials seriously
win with 3 units alive: piany, shera, and cardes
trial no 5 looks like even more of a bitch.
All that for a single gem and some shitty unit

He is pretty great in Arena for the angel idol buff to pair with Selena. If you can survive without a Deimos in other content he is pretty neat. Hits hard.

Literally every time I use Deimos he is the first to die

I just pop him in as friend for Null Status and let him eat shit usually.

Angel idol buff? Selena? Explain pls.

My Deimos doesn't crumble to attacks like that.

Also Angel idol buff = 1x surviving KO. Selena gets it. Ultor also has the Extra skill.

Ultor and Selena's 7* forms both receive an Angel Idol buff when they have their unique spheres equipped as part of their Extra Skill.

Selena's Angel Idol will activate when her HP drops below 20% (red HP). Any attack at this point that would normally kill her, will only reduce her down to 1 HP for the remainder of the turn, then the next turn (your turn) she will "revive" will full HP. This will only activate if there is a pause in the opponent's attack as her HP is whittled down. If Selena takes a single hit that can kill her (like a single attack for 30k damage) her angel idol buff will not activate and she will just die normally.

Ultor has the same thing will his ES. However, when he was released it was coded incorrectly and he just starts a battle with the Angel Idol Effect active. He doesn't have to be lowered to < 20% health like Selena. This was fixed, then broken again, then fixed. It might be broken again and so he'll start a battle with the effect active again.

Ultor and Deimos is good in trials and certain dungeons because if you know the boss is about to do some super powerful single target ultimate attack, you can force the opponent to do it on Ultor/Deimos with their Taunt mechanic and save all your other units and not have to use a revive. The only thing you have to make sure of is that the boss's attack does not ignore defense. If it ignores defense, Deimos and Ultor will get torn up, which is what probably happens to you when you had used a Deimos friend.

A recent example of this is the lvl 7 Elgif dungeon. When he gets lowered to below 50% HP, he'll use Last Resort twice, pretty much killing two units. However, if you have Ultor in the team, and when you lower the Elgif down to below 50%, use Ultor's BB or SBB and the Elgif will target Ultor with his Last Resort attack. The first LR will do massive damage (because it ignores your unit's defense in damage calculations), but it'll leave Ultor at 1 HP (Angel Idol Buff procced), then the next LR will also target Ultor and do massive damage but he'll still be at 1 HP due to his Angel Idol buff. The Elgif will end his turn, your turn Ultor will heal to full HP and you will have lost none of your units when you would normally lose two.

Deimos and Ultor's taunt can break certain boss AI as well. An example of that is Mora's EX dungeon. Where she systematically kills off a unit every turn. But if you use Taunt, she freaks the fuck out and doesn't kill anyone.

Somad but at the same time my fault, i finally got my unit of choice and it was avant, i already pulled him as a lord after the deadline. My first submission was chrome then i resubmitted for avant. I filed a ticket because people on reddit mentioned to not get your uoc from your gift box and submit the ticket, apparently they're responding quickly for that. We'll see.

I'm busy farming stuff for spheres

maybe I'll stop and do some EXP for a bit. I'll have Zeruiah up as lead most of the day once I'm done with FG as well. Trying to break 3m points, currently at 2.88m

I am also pulling like crazy on this banner because elgifs + I really need some more units for CA utility. I made it to summoner rank this week and I'm getting stomped. Once I lose my 11k HP ~4.8k DEF Haile lead everything immediately goes downhill.
