Glad you cleared it. Idk if you have access to them, but I do most things with Haile lead and Piany friend or Piany lead and Gazia friend. If you have those you should try. Haile and Piany trivialize BB management.

Piany lead with Krantz in party eliminates need for a dedicated healer as well pretty much.

I don't have Priany or Haile, but I do have a few friends as leaders, that have them.

Cleared up the rest of the GGC dungeons, except for Reed/Reeze, so I suppose it's on to GC next, then trials.

So I see in comments all the time that raid drops (the ones used for orbs and stuff) have a higher chance of dropping (maybe required condition?) if the respective body part that they supposedly dropped from is killed first. Is there any validity to this? I get items rarely/occasionally from runs where the whole thing dies together from my perspective, but I know that other people in the raid experience events at different time intervals depending on their current turn/actions (i.e. a boss retreating to change location @20% on my screen followed by an immediate CONGRATULATIONS! because someone else killed it on their screen from 20%). To this end I've been leveling up / evolving / imping people with ST BB/SBB (Rize/Ultor/Yuura/Aaron), but these units lack power/survivability when used together compared to my usual group. Am I wasting my time or is this worthwhile?

Defeating the respective parts increases the drop percentage. It's a proven fact from data mining.

Pretty much you just need Hadaron as your nuker for the majority of "body part targeting". The only exception to this is Balmedia; his tail is Crit rate resistant and takes reduced Crit damage on top of that, but the rest of his parts take normal Crit damage amounts. In that scenario you'd want to use a unit like Tazer, Oguro, Yuura, or (soon to get 7*) Lilith.

Damage contributed to bosses, as well as breaking specific body parts, are the two calculations used to determine if you get a drop; x2 the over all chance when the Raid Battle event is going on. Orbs have zero affect on that calculation, so don't use +drop chance orbs, leaderskills, or BB/SBB's. Some drops can only happen if you break the specific part, and many RC5 bosses are both critical resistant and negate extra elemental damage weakness (I.E, fire doesn't do extra damage to earth).

So it seems a ST group is a pretty decent idea then, especially when dealing with other groups in the raid who have nothing but powerhouse AoE damage who aren't focusing any specific part.

Finally attempted FG after that first time w/ 6*s. Beat it with a breeze. Now what's up w/ farming this? What do i need to know?

Use your FH team. Go for OTKO every round. Clear up to floor 20. Retire, collect points.

Rinse and repeat until you have 3 million Esteem Points.

Edit: rewards only go up to 1 million esteem points (Sacred Blade sphere) however it's only a matter of time before Gumi releases the next milestones that JP BF has for Esteem point farming (3 million).

Reeze GGC cleared! And with it that makes all GGC cleared! Was hard as hell but I opted for the heavy defense option, same as Meian.

For Reeze Armor sphere fight:
Piany lead + Gazia friend + Reud/Krantz/Deergirl/Tridon

Make sure you do the extra missions for Reeze and 12 Guardians GGC. There's a volume 4 for Reeze and volume 7 for 12 Guardians. That's two free gems people miss out on not realizing it.

I've been trying to finish my GGC but I've just been so close on so many final missions until everything just collapses and I lose. (Screw you Reeze insta killing half my team with mitigation and Tridon shield up)
I've been tweaking my team trying to see how I can survive these damn fights.

I personally would drop Chrome, but keep Zedus. Unless you have another unit that gives Attack Down (like Haile, or Ruby). The attack down debuff helps a lot as well as stacking it with a Defense Buff from Tridon, Elimo, Nadore, or Haile (BB only).

My Tridon is still 6* (was using a friend Tridon) but is Kanon a viable defense buffer option?

He provides a 130% buff. Same amount as Elimo. Tridon is 140%. Nadore is 120% iirc.

Never noticed how pretty beastly Reeze is (strongest status ailment negator?) especially with her ES from the Reeze's Armor, is pretty nice to go with Krantz solo mitigator+heal over Aurelia for the missing def based off rec buff leaving that open slot until getting into significantly harder fights requiring HoT etc. I had read something about BF JP had a patch where those "self only" buffs could stack with team buffs which will make her even more beastly. Hmm, wonder if this will also apply to Ultor, Deimos, and Hadaron?

Tridon can do HoT. Reeze looks good but no +% stat LS is kinda eh. Looks great for places you need to inflict status ailment or will exclusively be fighting one target, otherwise I like Piany for status null lead.

I was meaning in a bit more offensive builds with slot efficiency so I can use specific last slot unit for something such as breaking a specific part in raid for drop (Hadaron), Semira for status part where needed, Charla (? Haven't tried), and so forth but yeah Tridon could cover that though too if I need a little more defensive without Charla+Non-Krantz mitigator.
