How do we rate Avant vs. Isterio as a sub unit?

Seems Isterio as a sub is better than Avant if you can inflict status, or am I not considering some factors?

They both excel at different things.

Pair Drevas and Isterio and you pretty much guarantee an enemy on status infliction.

However, Avant's UBB does a metric fuckton of potential damage (due to party buffs) on targets that have no Crit resistance.

Avant was never a good subunit to begin with IMO. amazing DD lead and that's it.

Raid Medal Rush is active.

Also, Challenge Arena ranking resets following the end of this week.

They also revamped the reward tiers for Legendary rank. Pretty much, only being in the top 100 will allow you to get a free ticket (and 3 gems) a day. Weekly isn't much better now.

Rank 500 or higher is needed for 8 gems and 5 tickets.

Gimu done and gone fucked up and these revamping only help the hackers :/

It is 100% impossible to get even above R1500 without 5+ hours of close monitoring in CA and force closing the app every time a lead dies mid battle. Each. Day.

If it is changed to R500 then yes, everyone who isn't abusing force close spam or hacking is fucked.

It's definitely changed. They posted the updated tiers/ranks for legendary in the In-Game news.

Season 3 starts on the 7th and then server maintenance on the 8th for Karl/Seria to fuck over the people that do CA during those hours lol.

I'm gonna go for the Omega sphere and the ST for the first few weeks but then I guess I'll be done with CA until season

My wife loves the challenge arena but she only plays an hour or two a day when she gets home from work. I can't stand that shit. I don't have it in me to sit there full attention like that for hours, and I dont understand what you are supposed to do when enemy goes first and they have full BB gauges and just wipe out your whole 7* squad. I get so fucking mad lol.

Essentially what you are supposed to do when that happens is lose lol.

But what people do is force close the app and take a loss without losing any units. I dont do that though cuz too much work.

Do you need three of four WDB to fill out an FH/FG farming group, using Double Avants + Charla? I don't have some of the whale spheres, so I'm thinking four is probably what I am shooting for.

Four since Charla doesn't need any damage spheres and you obviously can't pick your friend's spheres unless you use your own unit for the helper slot.

However, the more WDB you make, the less sphere swapping you have to do between different party set ups.

You'll have to clear those. All of the Ishriga Map EX dungeons have required you to clear the map the EX dungeon is in as well as the EX dungeon from the previous map.
