You get a few Rare Summons from the free gems, but you can clear most of the 2nd map with nothing but 2-3 star units, really. You'll have to spend some time farming exp for them, but most are quite usable.

And the special event dungeons can get you a 2-4 star unit as well. Up to 5-star if you can handle the 2nd level.

What do you mean farm exp for them? I thought they only raised in level when I fused em.

Well, yes, but you farm for the monsters that you feed. After maybe 20ish, it becomes too expensive to feed normal monsters, so you need to wait for the special Metal dungeons.

Unless you can actively farm the weekend dungeon. Then money is almost pointless. Although it is true you will never make any real progress leveling off the x1/x2 star fodder, you can at least have a chance at BB level up.

Do people use their metal kings? I've been debating on blowing all mine on my Pheonix to get to the next level (thought I need it's Evolve items.)

Really wish they'd raise the droprate for level 1 of the event unit quests. I've cleared the Galant quest countless times without a drop. Level 2 is out of reach for my team, so grinding level 1 is my only option.

Parades are over from what I understand, being replaced with the upcoming Metal Key system.

As in you got? Either Phoenox or Vargas have been in every encounter from 2 on up. I think it's usually Phoenix, and then Vargas invades rarely.

I have not seen Vargas at all in any of my runs but on the bright side, the honor summoning event has been pretty good. I managed to snag Edze, Pike, and Magress as well as 6 metal kings. Also, during my spamming for honor points I learned some misinformation about leveling up brave bursts. I was told that it's best to fuse one at a time for optimal chances but it turns out that you can level up more than one time per fusion if you fuse more than one. This means that each monster you fuse with has independent chance to level up your BB when you fuse 5 at a time. I got from level 1 to 5 on a rare occasion.

Got an Iron Magress from Honor Summon, but it's Oracle.... Not sure if it's worth it since his REC is only 120 to start and clearly the other stats are superior. On the other hand, with my Hades and a few of my Alice friends it could make for a good Lead to pump up damage.

Weird. When I used my Rare summon today the door I was about to summon from cracked and broke and became a red door.

That's happened to be before too. I'm not sure if there's a chance for an upgrade to the unit you were going to get, or it's just an extra animation they throw in when you get a Super Rare.

I'd place her on a team as a support role, kind of like how I use Weiss to boost ATK. She'd be especially good if stacked with say a Phoenix where Heart effectiveness is boosted. If you can keep her BB meter going you wouldn't need heals too often, and if you did, the heals would be increased from the boosted REC.

For anyone whos on the third map, have you had any of the rarer units drop? I read that units like Zephu, Weiss, etc. drop from quests on the third map, but haven't been able to find exactly how rare they are. As far as the honor campaign goes, I think I've had 1 Metal King and 1 Jewel God (came out of the only red door I've seen)... thats as far as my rare drops have gone. Speaking of the honor campaign... is it over? Didn't receive my 500 bonus honor points today.

I haven't received them for days unless you no longer had to collect them from the chest on the home page.
