I've been getting together with friends and re-watching episodes for the past couple of weeks. Aside from some minor censorship like one of Xanatos' android doubles getting mauled and a couple filler episodes missing, they did a pretty good job uploading everything. I think there's even a couple of episodes that never got released mixed in or I might have just missed them the first time around.

I remember watching this when I was little but everything feels like deja vu. I don't quite remember any of these episodes but it feels familiar.

Can't wait to watch the rest when I get home tonight.

I used to love watching Gargoyles, mainly because it had a few of the cast from ST:TNG doing the voices. It filled a void after ST:TNG ended.

I own the first season and first half of the 2nd season on DVD. They just recently (well, half a year ago) released the 2nd half of 2nd season on DVD (not sure about Season 3 DVDs though). So I'm somewhat surprised to see Disney upload the episodes to YouTube. I'm glad that it's up there for everyone to see and nostalgia-trip over now <3

Honestly, Season 1 and the first half of 2 are amazing, but it really goes downhill during the World Tour arc. Yeah it lets the characters explore places that aren't in New York for once, but it drops any semblance of actual story to achieve it. One gets the feeling they started running out of ideas as Season 2 stretched on. I suppose the creators aren't to blame so much as the network Gargoyles first ran on, who surprise commissioned a bajillion episodes, though. I think Gargoyles ended up being a show that would have been much better off with a 2 regular-season limit, each episode lovingly crafted, instead of dragging on with a bunch of shitty to somewhat decent filler episodes. There are a few gems in there, though.

Never seen season 3, I heard it was shitty. If it's anything like mid-late S2, I can believe it.

World tour is not the greatest, but I thought it came back pretty well at the end(hunter's moon is good stuff). Season 3 however? ...The comics are pretty good imo, though of course it ended well before it could be completed which sucks. Oh wait you mean that Goliath chronicles crap? You will wish it was as good as the world tour, Disney screwing over Greg W. and basically forcing him off the team was the worst mistake ever. And sadly the beginning of Greg's curse.

You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

What what what!? Season 2 volume 2 is finally on DVD?

Why the holy hell is it $90 on Amazon.ca and half that on .com?
I guess I'll wait till I see it drop in price.

It's expensive because you can only get it through Disney's DVD/Bluray purchasing scheme where you have to buy X number of DVDs from them before you can get the really limited shit, and the Gargoyles DVD is one of them. I guess that's how it works. Or something. Disney is awful sometimes. But they put it on YouTube so... I guess it balances out...

I still remember watching this one morning before school and my dad heard Xanatos talking. "Is that Riker?" he asked, and then saw him and laughed that it even looked like him. Overall, I was kind of in the same boat since I liked TNG back then, too, and picking up midnight satellite feeds was one of those reasons he let me stay up for on weekends.

    Cool, thanks for the tip.
Unfortunately it doesn't appear they'll ship internationally, so I'm not able to get it from there.
