Spoiler: showYou got Persona in my Etrian! You got Etrian in my Persona! Well, you’re right on both counts. Persona Q is a cross-over for the Nintendo 3DS system that brings Persona 3 and 4 characters to the gameplay style of Etrian Odyssey. It also marks the first time the Persona franchise will be available on a Nintendo system.
Characters from Persona 3 and 4 have been given a complete visual overhaul to match the Etrian style and plunged into an alternate world resembling Yasogami High School. Legend has it that listening to the end of the bell chimes of Yasogami High’s clock tower causes people to die, and this time the bell tolls for the Investigation Team and the SEES. Trapped in an other-world filled with Shadows, the protagonists from Persona 3 and Persona 4 each have different events to follow, allowing the player to choose and experience two different plotlines. As both groups seek a way out of the labyrinth, they will run in to two new characters, Rei and Zen, who may hold the secret to this new mystery.

http://www.siliconera.com/2014/03/11...trian-odyssey/Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth will be mixing elements from the Etrian Odyssey series with characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4. Famitsu teases some new features that will be detailed in this week’s issue of the magazine.
According to the report, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth will have a map-making feature similar to the ones in the Etrian Odyssey games, where you can draw the layout of the dungeons on the 3DS touch screen to help find your way around.
Additionally, the game will contain “F.O.E.” monsters, and when you come across them, you’ll have to decide whether it would be best to run, or maybe try to see if you can take them down, similar to tough monsters you may have encountered during Etrian Odyssey.
Famitsu says you might get something special for defeating these tough F.O.E.s.
More details will be available when this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine is published. Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth will be released this fall in North America for Nintendo 3DS.
It's official.
Even in Persona games,
So Persona party management, demon fusion with EO's dungeon design? Sounds like a big win. Unless they make you draw your own maps :X
Oh Famistu and your terrible preview caps
Also, Rise & Fuuka will only be support characters and not actually in your party.
From here, I can tell the battle commands are Fight, Skill, Leader Skill, View, Defense, Move and Escape. Leader Skill is probably exclusive to Minato/Yu. Seeing the yellow conversation box makes me wonder though...

Holy crap that's a pretty nifty design. I wouldn't mind it, but fat chance in hell of that ever arriving in the US.
And IIRC, they made the 3DS systems region locked, which also puts me in a SoL position.
Yeah they are region locked. I have a JP 3DS and a jp cart game. I would trade my JP 3DS for this one except the one I have has been modified for streaming games and the thought of going through that process to get this one done is a little daunting.
That design is super fantastic but like you said, fat chance we would get something this amazing. (I would trade in my 3DS for this in a heartbeat)

Elizabeth, Theo, Margaret, and Marie have been addedhttp://gematsu.com/2014/04/persona-q...oom-charactersFamitsu this week reveals new characters set to appear in Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, due out on 3DS this June in Japan and this fall in North America.
From the Velvet Room comes Elizabeth (voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro), her brother Theo (Junichi Suwabe), their sister Margaret (Sayka Ohara), and returning from her debut in Persona 4 Golden, Marie (Kana Hanazawa).
Elizabeth appears to be a nurse in the health room. And Theo looks like he’s donning an apron in the workshop, where he does weapon and item development.
Silhouettes of these characters can be seen on the game’s official site.

Details on the Velvet Room characters
http://gematsu.com/2014/04/elizabeth...oles-persona-qFamitsu this week brings more details on the upcoming Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, this time focusing on the Velvet Room, its attendants, and what impact their presence will have on the Persona 3 and Persona 4 cast’s dungeon crawling antics.
As is tradition with previous Persona installments, players can once again visit the Velvet Room over the course of the game, with Persona 3‘s Elizabeth and Theodore, and Persona 4′s Margaret and Marie gathered to provide support.
While Marie is singled out as not being an official resident of the Velvet Room for this game, she is still set to give her unique brand of mouthy assistance, the specifics of which weren’t detailed.
Furthermore, much like the first two Persona games, every party member will now be able to enter the Velvet Room instead of only the protagonists. The layout of the Velvet Room is also set to change once again, with a pair of mysterious locked doors being the most prominent feature.
New information on the Velvet Room’s attendants this week revolves primarily around Elizabeth and Theodore. Elizabeth has two main jobs this time.
First, as was the case in Persona 3, she’ll once again have requests that players can go out and fulfill in exchange for rewards. The nature of these requests are mostly mum, although they’re said to be jotted down in a specific “Request Notebook” whose contents are based on the Seven Wonders of Yasogami High School that previous trailers have depicted. It’s also noted that taking them on can result in special events being triggered.
He second role is completely new and comes in the form of functioning as a nurse that players can visit after making trips to the game’s labyrinths. Naturally, doing so will heal the party in terms of both health and status effects.
As for Theodore, he runs the workshop. By defeating the Shadows stalking the labyrinths, you’ll obtain the raw materials necessary for developing equipment and consumable items. Theo runs the studio in a pink and red apron with a heart in the center. There’s apparently a backstory to this, but the details are mum.
