Sounds a lot like the boarding process for NCOs in the Army. You have to have a firm grasp of the basics, as well as your job skills, and then have solid knowledge of unit-specific missions and tasks...as well as some miscellaneous bull. When I had to go to the promotion board to pick up E5 (way back in 2005) during my active duty days, I had to know the Ranger Creed...in the 82nd Airborne, which is decidedly NOT a Ranger unit.

Oh yeah, I was also an intel weenie.

Bahrain is good duty from what I've heard. Stopped there for port during cruise. Only place they thought we wouldn't destroy after 159 consecutive days at sea, it's still blurry. You sure as shit love that $$$, Abandon..
