Conqueror or Kogarasumaru?

Well i have just recently came back to game, as before first we had a rush to build Relic Weapons, then Empyreans it appears that everyone is doing Mythic weapons now, i know at least 6 people who are nearing the finish line, and 3 more who recently finished, and 5+ that are almost halfway... so as i'm jumping on the bandwagon i just have to know, what is the top DD weapon atm?

At first i have started making Kogarasumaru, but now people are saying that conqueror is slightly ahead, i checked the completed mythic/relic thread, and mostly people seem to be making Kogarasumaru.

I play on 3 characters, hume that is 99relic/99empy bard, first job in ffxi was war, also like SAM thou i'd imagine i'll need to really focus on it when dual boxing, smn and thf. taru WHM, ochain pally. Galka, which i think is my main, empy h2h mnk(already parse 8% ahead of others on most anything we do), aegis pld, Plus a bunch of jobs with 90 empy, katana, gkt, sword, etc.

I am making a burt for Galka, question is, should i make second mythic on same toon or on hume?(thinking i'd need another 3 months redoing assaults/nyzuhl isl, einherjar to make second mythic on same toon>.>)

I'd appreciate any input you're willing to share.

To be honest, depending on your server, empyreans might be the hardest weapons to make.

The reason being the incredibly low supply of heavy metal plates. Most server bazaar lists I look at on ffxiah are showing a range of 50~80 HMPs for sale in bazaars per server. Thats a pretty far cry from the 1,500 you need to hit 99.

Plutons, on the other hand, are in rampant supply. I think effort wise it might actually be easier to make a relic over empy even farming dynamis and not buying currencies. The massive difference in effort probably negates the ever so slight dps difference between any of the weapons.

God damn, urat. Somehow you replied to a post asking which mythic weapon to make with an analysis of whether making empyreans is harder than relics.

To the OP, both SAM and WAR have pretty highly situational uses at the moment. I would do SAM because it loses less from /nin.

I would pick sam because it's a Japanese game and sam will be treated better. Just remember what happened with twilight scythe and murasamemaru. Dark knight with cool special weapon = nerf bat. Sam = looks balanced to me!

This thread is hilarious. Guy asks if he should make sam or war mythic first guy says empyreans are too hard make a relic. Then 3 guy says make sam because drk weapons get nerfed <.<. 4th guy says make brd.

To the OP... your question is hard to understand in some ways. At first it makes it sound like war and sam are on the hume and you are choosing which mythic to use on it which is further emphasized by not mentioning it on the galka description... but then you say it's a choice between making a 2nd mythic on galka or one on hume... and the comment about dual boxing sam with smn and thf is even more confusing. Could you clarify the situation a little?

I am assuming you want a DD mythic, in all honesty go with what you like to play the most on your galka. If its WAR do conqueror, if its SAM do the sam mythic, if its DRG do the DRG mythic.

The game is constantly changing I wouldnt try to guess what will be the flavour of the next year DD. at the moment its MNK, but shit comes and goes, just do the mythic for the job you like to play most. (in my example SCH). I hope I assumed correctly that you were talking about your Galka char. If it would be the 99 gjallar/99 daurd hume I would say do carnwenhan (brd mythic)
