It could not have been more of a sketchy situation.
1. DeSean on trade block after career year.
2. Chip Kelly reportedly did not get along with DeSean.
3. Chip Kelly personally calls DeSean to assure him, he will be an Eagle.
4. NJ.com releases story.
5. 5 minutes later DeSean is released.

C'mon man. Then a team who signs him has 6.8MM in cap space -- signs him to a 3 year 24M deal, with 16M guaranteed.... no one has been released.
Washington doesn't have a 1st round pick, but they certainly don't have a full roster and need to pay 5-6 rookies.

Well they had all that cap space and people still didn't want to sign with Oakland, not much they can do. Even "Fuck winning give me money" Revis turned his nose up at the prospect of playing for the Raiders. I guess hope they go above .500 and have FA next year forget where the stadium is situated to change their minds.

Rashad got a multi-year deal from Giants that the Raiders didn't really believe in.

All of their signings are stop gaps so they can build around their own schemes via draft. Only thing is, every position is now a veteran pushing 30+.
Only so many draft picks, I am expecting a trade down.

Marcel Reece is their best player, but the FB position is tough to turn to a center piece. He isn't an every down back and he isn't willing to play tight end.... So it's kinda shitty.

These athletes need to get it together. I had two teammates kicked off my team and expelled at the D1 level, now groups of NFL players are doing it multiple times a year. Yeah, you are a star and attract girls, but that doesn't mean you are obligated to what you want with them after you get them so fucked up they pass out.
