Comcast and Time Warner Cable spent a total of $32 million lobbying the government to sign off on their merger and they still didn’t get what they wanted.

Is it the politicians that are getting fired!? I have somewhat mixed feelings about that 32 million. Is that number suppose to be all they spent, or just recently? I feel like more money would have been spent for something so large scale. Glad it was finally shut down though. Now if I could just figure out what all these other asshole ISPs are doing. AT&T has been digging up places all over town, and I know they aren't about to upgrade the service here. They don't care about rural areas because they are the only ones out here.
