Recently completed shot a project using Super 8 film.
Film has been digilitized but I need to edit it pretty substantially.
Unfortunately, this is my first time ever touching video editting, let alone touching super 8 film.
Some things I want to be able to do:
I shot the film (mostly) at 6fps a second, but the film could only be transferred to digital at 18fps. This isn't an issue when playing back at .3 the speed....but it would be great if I could convert the film to just play at 6fps.
I also shot some single shots. Is it possible to see a video as a sum of all its individual shots?
Although the lighting generally came out amazingly well, there are one or two scenes I'd like to brighten.
I only have access to a PC.
Seemingly everyone suggests Imovie for a user friendly experience, but I cannot get access to a mac (project must be completed this weekend).
I have 0$ available to me in regards to buying software (been eating trader joes mac and cheese all week because it cost me 220$ to develop and transfer 10 minutes of super 8 film). However, I'm not opposed to finding "alternative" methods of acquiring software if its not too much hassle ( cracking etc) and if there are no free options.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations
