Thread proceeded exactly as I wanted it to, lol. Realistic fetishes ain't got nothing on completely implausible fetishes. For real though, I don't understand the appeal behind dakimakura and anime/hentai bedsheets or shower curtains, shit feels awkward to me. I have a friend who bought a shower curtain, but at least he doesn't even entertain the idea of using it. I almost set it up in his suite's bathroom in college, but ended up not following through. I regret not doing it, it would have been fucking hilarious.

I've probably only used any of them for that three or four times, and that was because we lost power long enough for my DS to die and there was nothing else to do. I only bought porn that were by specific artists that I wanted to support because I think their work is quality and awesome. Except for the cheap doujinshi and the LO serializations, that was simply me going "Holy fuck this is so cheap, how can I not buy it?"

To put it in perspective, each of those doujinshi I paid 1 to 5 dollars each for would have cost like 12 to 25 dollars each if I bought them here.

I question your logic though.
How does buying second hand (still funny) or for super low prices and such like that really support the artists? I would imagine that they are not getting the dosh.

In terms of money spent it's probably around a ~6:1 ratio of support:cheap? Not including manga/light novels of course, which I bought mostly to read/study, and bought new whenever possible.
