6 "New" Wings give you an option to trade them in for a KI to +1 Armor and +2 Weapons. Furthermore, 30 "old" wings from Yorcia Skirmish, can be traded for 1 "new" wing.

When did these new 'wings' get added? I haven't seen any drop for my group. Then again we only do T1s and stop.
Um,.... its part of the new skirmish
Oh. Eh, guess we suck at it then.
The drop rate on Wings is just as shitty as the drop on KI. Normally, during a run we do Primary Objective and if anything worthwhile (i.e. Wings, +2 stones, etc) pop as possible rewards in personal pool for Secondary objective, we continue, if not, we just leave the zone taking only Primary Objective rewards.
Also the option won't show if you already have the KI on you.
Got bored and did some more Uffrat +2 augments
DMG +10; hMP +4; Pet:Acc +21
DMG +17; Summoning skill +8; Pet:Attack +22
DMG +18; MND+8; Pet:MAB +22
DMG +17; INT+1; Avatar Perp -4
DMG +17; Pet:Damage Taken -1%; Pet:MAB +23
DMG +19; Weapon Skill Acc +3; Avatar Perp -4
DMG +20; MND +6; Avatar Perp -3
DMG +17; Weapon Skill Acc +1; Pet:MAB +23
DMG +21; CHR +1; Pet:Attack +21
DMG +17; INT +5; Pet:MAB +24
DMG +18; CHR +1; Avatar Perp -5
DMG +20; Pet:Magic Accuracy +20 & Damage Taken -2%
DMG +17; Pet:Damage Taken -1% and Attack +21
EDIT: All augments were from +2 stones.
All of those were with +2 stones, Alistrianna?
Yup.
Perp-3 with a +2 stone is disappointing, thought you couldn't go under 4 with a +2 stone :'(
I'm so keeping my Uffrat+1 with Perp-5...
Quite some good staff in that list btw.
Which one did you decide to keep atm?
Too lazy to find and crop the SS, found a Crobaci +2 w/ augs: D+26, acc+9, stp+3
kept the perp -5 one.
Couldn't you just get a second staff and +2 that and then try auging it til u got better? then you could keep your precious perp -5. I do understand however that that means throwing alot of gil at it all again.
Is the perp even that important anymore compared to other options with all the amount we get elsewhere?
Don't think you can cap perp gear with the other gear, unless you have Nirvana or the elemental SMN TotM staves.
Even if you could, a staff with -perp is still useful becase it means using refresh gear instead of -perp gear.
You could get a second +2 staff (I have a +1 btw atm) but that would mean doing old skirmish until an Uffrat drops (and you win lot), then upgrading it to +1, then upgrading it to +2.
It's a "lot" of work, and with the low drop rate of the Ra'kaznar KI people probably (well at least I do!) have other priorities with the upgrading list.
I don't really want to bother with getting Hagondes +2 (for my SMN) or Uffrat+2.
Plus I'm not really swimming in gil atm so if I have to waste +2s stones I'd rather do it for other items.
This was just to explain my personal view, not trying to say that everybody should do the same of course.
Yeah you only need 14 to cap and you can get 5 per hagones...so get 5 with body with refresh on it. Then another 5 on some other hagones 1 for ring and chat staff or whatever. 2 more from staff doesn't really add anything doesn't let you drop the other hagones not like you need to to maintain max refresh...
I was mostly talking about "real" gear, not stuff that you have to depend on billions of gil and luck to get what you want from a completely random augmentation system
I think I'm pretty much done with crap systems like these, I'm gonna use it only for a small bunch of vital stuff. Avatar -perp and additional copies of hagondes totally are not part of the small group I have in mind xD
I use Uffrat +2 (-5), Hagondes Coat (-5) and Convoker's Pigaches (-4). Evoker's Ring gives you the flexibility of not needing -5 perp on at least one of those two pieces. Until I see a screenshot of Uffrat +2 getting at least Pet:MAB +26 I'm not going to change the augment I have since Balsam Staff is still more powerful in terms of damage. The only other useful augment I would use would be Pet:Magic acc+ or trying for -5 perp with the pet damage taken augment assuming that combo is possible.
You also do not need alot of gil to get a perp augment on hagondes pieces. You can get perp -5 with a +1 stone.
As far luck and gil go is it that much more gil/luck to get the +5 on the hagones instead of the staff? Plus can just do it with nq hag. Assuming equal distribution and not being able to use hag augs for other things and same tier should cost only about twice as much
