I babysat some kids from Australia while over winter break. They are interesting in the sense that they live on a farm and honestly don't get much interaction with other people let alone time with others without their parents.
Cute kids, blue yes, blond hair, but dear jesus it sealed the deal on not wanting kids for me. God, SO much energy and emotions. We were leaving the theatre from Frozen and they didn't want to leave - When one of them spit at me, I was done. Christ.
i know what you look like, archie

I do need to reproduce soon so my super sperm brilliance can offer some sort of hope for this world.
Fuckin China, India, and the Duggars can cut that shit out, though, so I hear ya. BG, keep at it. Can't wait for pics of archie's ugly son and ugly penis.
I am totally against unplanned children. I hate that I have to deal with my kid's dad forever, and he's not even the worst that it could be.
I like being a part time parent, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my daughter, but I'll be the first to admit I should not have had a kid. I am definitely too selfish for it. I almost got sterilized, because I was certain I didn't want to raise any more kids. Then, a friend was like "do you really not want to, or do you not want to do it ALONE again?" So I got an IUD instead.
Lastly, kids in a relationship is a hypocritical deal breaker. I don't want anyone else's kids. No hard feelings if you don't want mine.
Hypocritical if you already have your own, I think is what was meant.
she's saying it's hypocritical for her. she has kids, but she doesn't want to be with someone else who has kids.
Ok I see I was going to say. Speaking of single mothers. Seems to be all I see of people my age.
Kindly don't answer if you'd like. I honestly feel weird asking, but will anyway.
When was babydaddy outta the picture? Like early on in pregnancy or not until later after your daughter's birth? You say you shouldn't have had a kid, so I'm wondering why abortion or adoption wasn't the chosen path.
I'm thinking if some of my girlfriends and I had unplanned pregnancies, some definitely would've hit Ctrl+Z, some were too 'christian' to ever consider it. One of these devout followers of jesus later told me she took the morning-after pill after some random dude with less incredible sperm (earning potential?). I was like wtf you wouldn't have done that with me, and she nonchalantly acknowledged so. bitches be cray, etc
I'm on tapatalk or I would quote everyone, but yes. I realize it's kinda backwards to say I don't want you if you have a kid, but then asking someone to be ok with me having one (which sounded awful every way I tried to put it, but I know you get what I'm saying).
It wasn't that great of a relationship. As much as I knew "a baby won't change him", looking back that must have been what I was thinking would happen. He moved out when she was 2, we were done long before that. Not long after she was born, actually, when I figured out what it was really like to love someone (her) and that I didn't really love him.
He's been there, and he's not cruel, so again, it could be so much worse. But her and I both see him more as a babysitter than a parent. And though he tries, obviously, he's just not a very likeable person.
Kids are wonderful, and I don't want to presume to know anyone's situation. I like to say, in general, think VERY CAREFULLY about what you're getting into when you get pregnant. Even people who split up under good terms, 20+ years is a long time and a lot of big decisions to maintain civility through.
Which is so cynical, because ksandra's babies are beautiful and will live happily ever after!
The end.
Yeah, there's a huge part of me that wishes I'd never gotten with my ex-husband, but then I wouldn't have my two awesome kids, so that's the tradeoff. I actually did break up with my ex while I was pregnant with my first son, since we were just engaged at that point. I eventually got back with him because I thought it would be easier for the kid.
Bad idea.
But I tried to make it work with him, we ended up having a second child, we separated before my second son was born, then we tried living together again, and it just couldn't work. We did try. It just didn't work, and everyone is much happier where they are now. In hindsight, I never should have married my ex. I probably wouldn't have my second son if it had happened that way.
Now, I'm a lot more careful. My ex wouldn't let me take birth control, and I realized that was a highly controlling thing to do, but only realized that in hindsight. I'm lucky I got out of that relationship, because looking back, I see the warning signs of it becoming abusive. And he's never shown any signs of being anything less than the perfect father to the kids, it was just me that he wanted to control. I barely speak to him now, as the kids actually live with his parents, so I communicate with them.
Now though, I am on the pill, religiously. We (my boyfriend and I) will use condoms when I am ovulating, too, just to be safe. We're not taking any chances. He and I have talked about kids possibly in the future (sometime after he gets his PhD and I finish up my degree), but not before marriage and deciding that we are both ready. I'm 33, so I don't feel the biological clock ticking just yet.Looking back, I wish I had been a lot more careful, but I wouldn't change it because I love my boys so much.
Not too terribly recent, but these are my guys:

I've been with my wife since 2002. We got married in 2012.
Never used any form of birth control other than pulling out. She dropped the hammer on me in regards to being ready for kids about 6-7 months ago. I wouldn't say I was ready, because honestly I could get by in life without any kids. I always knew she'd eventually want one though, and have been preparing myself for it since we got engaged lol. Knocked her up within 2 months of that notice...... and here we sit today.
We find out the sex April 11th. I'm hoping karma shines down on me and gives me a boy since I sucked it up and moved over from the "NO KIDS EVER" side of the fence lol.
This will be the only child though. So B-C and/or and rubbers from here on out 100%. I absolutely will not have more than 1 child.
If you know for sure you don't want more kids why not consider a vasectomy or tubal ligation? If your wife has to get a c-section they can usually do them right then and there. Birth control can fail. Also, you're extremely lucky that pulling out worked for you, because most people who use pulling out as a contraception method end up being parents.
