Ya, the problem with the pump rule is the ACA doesn't specify. So Kaiser gives everyone a stupid single manual pump. However, my insurance covered a free rental hospital-grade one (nurse claims it us a $1000 machine) because of my breastfeeding issues. As long as the doctor feels I need it to keep my supply up I won't have to pay a dime. Otherwise it is like $20 a month to rent.

It was quite the learning curve at the beginning and very frustrating at times, but we both got the hang of it and it's a breeze now.

She's only 2-1/2 months old. The gloves have some elastic at the wrist (I think they are the gerber ones) and they stay on without problem. You might also check out guavamitts - they have a strap that can be tightened.

Use baby socks instead - they're longer so more likely to stay on than mitts which are fucking useless.

Now getting gloves to stay on a 2 year old - I have regular thoughts about duct tape.

Ya, my daughter could ninja out of the gloves. even the ones with elastics. So, someone taught me to use socks instead. That's what I am using for my newborn. Definitely harder for them to get out of lol
