That.....makes fuck all sense.
Why would the nature of the lock matter, it's self-incrimination either way.

Pretty terrible.... though, at least if you have an iPhone, they probably can't keep you from powering down your phone.
At that point, touch ID wouldn't work the first time you unlock it.
But it's not a matter of remembering the password (or lying about it), it's a matter of self-incrimination.
If you're in trouble and the police want to gather evidence from something you own that is currently inaccessible they need a warrant to get it, whether it's locked behind door, a password, or a dick-mold lock is irrelevant.
Not gonna pretend to be a lawyer or really know the law on that one, but I will say when it comes to technology and encryption the law is usually very far behind. Look at the FBI and Britain all flipping a collective shit over the fact that we can encrypt our HDD's and our data, as if that's a huge deal in any way.
Just got an email from LinusTechTips saying they were compromised and all passwords have been reset. Obviously I didn't click any links in the email.
15 million people who applied for T-Mobile service had their info hacked:

The hack was on experian's end, so it's more than just T-Mobile customers who got fucked.
Patreon has been breached. Names, addresses, and donation totals have been published.
And if you want to keep your brain clean, don't go looking into the who and why of the hack.
Just leave it as being another bit of collateral in the great internet war of the 2010s.
Everytime I hear Patreon, I think of Rich Evans...

Patreon was apparently running a debugger that was accessible from outside by the looks of it.
Crackas do be crazy tho
A group of teenage hackers going by the name of “Crackas With Attitude” (CWA) are on a rampage, breaking into federal systems to embarrass the U.S. government.

Until they're caught and ultimately crucified as a deterrent, because digital security is a joke when used by humans and the only way to ensure there aren't breaches is to ensure no one attempts to breach the system.
idk I'm kinda jivin with this freepalestine bro he seems like a cool guy
Comcast breached. 200k emails & passwords taken, they're currently being sold. Comcast has reset the passwords for the affected accounts.
Part of me wonders if this hadn't happened earlier at some point in the past. About a year back I found some asian hotmail account had been set up through their web client, which I never used, to forward everything I got to them. I had no clue how long this had been going on for, but I ultimately suspect it related to some game account issues I had over the years. The kicker is I only used that address for official stuff, anything else gets a yahoo or now gmail registry. The fact I was getting no indication these mails were being forwarded pissed me off and the only way I found out was when I linked my phone to my email and started getting error messages about the recipient being unable to receive messages.
320k Time Warner accounts.
Hackers could attack and take over computers using a wireless mouse connectionhttp://www.scientificamerican.com/vi...-hack-a-mouse/"So the attacker can send data to the dongle, pretend it's a mouse but say 'actually I am a keyboard and please type these letters'."
This may be old news or newb news for some, but I found this pretty interesting/hilarious.
I never liked wireless accessories anyway.
Back when I was playing XI on my fat PS3, the controller had a habit of cutting out the connection for a few seconds. It would repeat the state of the inputs while this happened.
After the occasion this caused me to unwillingly walk into the Dyna-Windy death house, that resulted in the controller and system maintaining a cord connection to this day.
