PS4 Beta information

For all the Beta tester of the PS4 version please, post interesting/useful information here

1) Updating the game, for those who downloaded the game, you can already link the game with your account and do the initial update, it will do a 5min pre update then a 56mb update

2) Streaming, as of Today I tried to Stream my log screen (lol) and the option on Twitch is deactivated, but i can stream other games which means that either

a) SE disabled it for the beta
b) You just cant stream from the log screen
c) It's gonna work tomorrow when the beta launch

I will be streaming (if we can) starting 8 AM EST Saturday morning at this address

The login screen is a small square on ps4 too, so just expecting the login problem only

Idiot thing

As you know FFXIV got 2 thing to update 'the boot' and the game

When the 'boot' finish downloading on PS4 you have t oclose FFXIV then install it then reload XIV

That better be fixed soon

Keep getting errors around 50% when I try to update the game. Didn't see anyone else complaining about it so I'm hoping it's just me having connection issues and not the server having servers issues.

I'm unable to start the client to update and keep getting "This application can be started only by a user who has a license for it."

Can't seem to find a solution anywhere and have already tried re-downloading it. Ideas? :/

Edit: After restoring licenses for the fourth time it decided to work

Still can't update past the first-time setup and among all the people who have the same problem, no one seems to have a solution. Thought it might be corrupt data but I've seen people who say they re-downloaded the game but still ran into the same issue so I guess I'm out until someone says something. Lame but it is what it is.

Game is really smooth atm, controls are the same as PS3 or PC with controller

the Touchpad is used as a mouse

So move the finger on the touch pad = moving the mouse
Double click fast = click
Press right or left on the touchpad = Pressing select on the PS3 controller for the PS3 version so passing threw options
