Looks like I answered my own question, it's locked to multiple PSN accounts. Pretty damn cool.

You just open the remote play ports on your router towards your PS4 and put the PS4 on Standby

Then on the Vita just start remote play and it will look for the internet (takes a good 1 min to open the PS4 and connect when on WAN)

Of course both console needs to be logged with the same PSN

Anyone know if it is possible to save all of your HUD/Crossbar/Macro ect settings to the server like in ffxi and then upload them to ps4? It would make my life so much easier D:

I wonder how long it'll take before that's hacked the hell out of! will need to isolate the PS4 on a guest network when I get one I guess. Thanks for the answer, I might just need to get this combo-platter, so I can drive my retainer slaves even from work.

I deactivated the Virtual Mouse option from the configuration screen after I spent 5 minutes trying to use the front touch screen to move the damnable pointer around the freaking tiny UI on the PS Vita screen... I find it easier to use the front touch screen as the DUALSHOCK3/4 "SELECT" button (I only have to tap the screen a few times to select the correct UI window.)

i've been having alot of disconnection issue sunday on remote play

Was at home all day so i dunno if i would have the same problem away but i could play 1h + doing little demanding stuff like leves, books for atma weapons and stuff like that

But when i started doing big fights like Leviathan i kept losing connection between my Vita/ps4 at the 2h

You can store the following:

Gearsets
Macros
Log Filter Settings
Keybinds

But only from the PS3 to the server, then you can download them again on a PS4:

The HUD, Character Settings and Configuration Settings will have to be re-done manually.

Curious to know how good the graphical aspect is for the PS4 version. Compared to say a high end PC running the game on Standard/High at 60fps, how does it match up to this exactly for anyone thats tried it so far?

It will never best a beast pc

I played all 3 versions ( ps3 pc and ps4, my ps4 and ps3 has a 5400rpm Hdd)

PS3 was slow everywhere hard to play and enjoy, I honestly pity people who played full time since launch on ps3

Ps4 zone loading are still slow ( due to my hdd). But exept that no problems at all

Did leviathan, Titan ex, twintania, everything was smooth as hell

Ps4 is 1000% better then the ps3 version and remote play just enhance that.

Oh wow, FFXIV team did a great job with the PS4 version. Only reason I see PC winning is for the extras/plugins/multitasking

for now. pending if they manage to patch most of it into PS4 somehow, PC will have extra DX11 features that will set it apart in the future.

Has anyone found a way to make the movement controls for ps4 controller function like ps3? I want left stick to be wasd but it seems stuck as qwes, fooled with it for a while last night couldn't fix it....now it fking sucks to dodge by comparison because I'm stuck strafing rather than turning...amdapor and copperbelk were rough last night.

Sounds like you have it set on Standard Mode. Change it to Legacy in Character configuration.

Loving it so far. Far superior to PS3 due to the HUD alone. Considering picking up a Vita for the remote play as well.

Checked it out for the first time last night and was very impressed. Doing the upgrade from PS3 was fast and painless as well. Graphically its miles ahead of PS3 and almost on par with PC. They did an amazing job getting it to run like it does. I enjoy the touchpad for the mouse function but has anyone been able to enlarge the chat box using the touchpad? When I mouse over the corner of it the stretch icon appears but couldnt seem to find anyway to grab and stretch it.

Pretty sure I will be picking up a Vita this weekend as well for this.

You need to enter virtual mouse mode (press L1 and R3 together) and then you can do it.
