I'm glad the shit got cancelled after ending on another cliffhanger; it marks at least the 2nd time they said each season would be it's own standalone plot with all new characters and they clearly weren't going that direction.

Alright, maybe I'm being a little too hard on the show; I enjoyed it enough.

Tommy said something about going back a ton of times and that they failed every time to save the world when that person wasn't Noah. So basically they needed someone as the conduit who had a strong bond to them to actually be able to save the world. There's a few reasons I could see for that but it's mostly conjecture.

Makes zero sense when they showed a random Primatech worker being a conduit when they were kids. I don't buy the bullshit butterfly crap that Tommy said in the show; they just wanted a reason to sacrifice Noah.
