Not bad at all
It's... ok.
Just watched all six. Was interesting. I'll give it a shot of course.
Sept 24.

Including trailer. Cool to see the guy that played Peter Pan in Once Upon a Time there.
Late to the party?
Um...no? It's the first I see in this thread about a date and that is a different trailer (albeit shorter one) than what's been posted.
Other than it's been in the title for a few weeks?

Actually the date was announced in July.
Well, I guess that's what I get for ctrl-f heroes and clicking the highlighted word without looking at the rest. Fair enough.
Had me interested for the first hour, then suddenly(I don't know what people will consider spoilers)Spoiler: show
Honestly after 2 hours, this show has an uphill battle to fight. Next episode seems like it might set the hook, so in reverence to the beginning of the first series I'll give it a fair run.
I think if you were to fast forward through the video game retardness it would have been better
wouldnt it be sad if it was aimed at the demographic we would be a part of lol, i mean who else would they want to get a rise out of with that
Was said already, but pretty much agreeing with the other comments. Evernow and Leeroy Jenkins were extremely facepalm worthy. Teleport kid was the best part.
Not really sure I can follow this again after being let down the last time. Even if it was partially due to the writer's strike, I'm still worried.
edit: Teleport kid is better if you watched Once Upon a Time. He was the best part of whichever season that was. >.>
Yeah I don't think I can do it again. I'm giving up at 45 minutes into the premiere. The second the gaming thing started I checked out.
I pretty much enjoyed all of it except for the video game world nonsense. And the quick departure of one of the original series cameos.
Hey guyz! What can possibly be better than a bland as fuck storyline in Japan that lasts damn near the entire season!?
Yeah...no. I'm not doing this shit again. Tapped out the second cliche Asian with katana popped up.
So is the verdict don't bother?
It wasn't -that- bad. If you liked the series at all before, you might as well give it a shot. I'm probably giving it a few more episodes.
It was rough, but I'm not writing it off yet (though I completely understand those who do). This episode was like 90% character introduction, 5% plot development, and 5% people saying the word "Evo". Next episode they introduce the main antagonist and hopefully reveal a watchable plot line. I feel like this show's success/failure will hinge almost entirely on the proper and frequent use of cameos from the first series.
That computer game sequence though... still can't come to terms with it. I tried last night after reading a lot of post-episode reviews that really seemed to think it was cool. Can't do it. The concept isn't the worst, but who thought CGI graphics circa some 2007 MMO would fly? And Leeroy Jenkins? Really? That's probably a good subtitle for this show now.
