    Conserve TP Testing

Some very rough Conserve TP testing.

Job: 90 DRG, weapon: V.Contus (+6 conserve TP)

I did 100 out of range weapon skills to test conserve TP proc rate and return amount.

29 procs, min 3 TP max 19 TP, average 12.31

Working on tests with a staff now to A) test proc rate without any Conserve TP gear, and B) confirm my suspicion that it's based on TP/hit.

I'm not sure if you've seen it, but there was some conserve TP testing done (on Alla?) that showed it was an even chance of conserving 1-20 TP. Motenten would know where it is.

I have not seen them. That said, seems plausible (I've not seen a 20 TP return yet, but I've only got 63 total procs)

    Data from staff testing.

34 procs min 1 TP max 19 TP, average 9.91

Combined with earlier data for averages, gives 11.01, which is fairly close to the 10.5 you would expect from an even distribution from 1-10.

Confidence interval on first test was ~20-39. This one is ~25-44. Combined rate is 31.5% with CI of 25-38, with +6 conserve TP worn half the time.

Were I betting man, I'd bet on 30% proc rate base for DRG.

May do more testing later, but it takes a while to gather these.

If you can get your hands on one, I'd suggest something like KClub + MP Restore WS, or MKris and Energy Drain(?) something that normally returns 0 TP, so you don't need to back out of range every time. Club ones better since you can turn away and then use, avoiding accidental extra hits.
