Anyone else watching Mekaku City Actors? I like it so far. It gives me a Haruhi feel despite being nothing like it.

I still have no idea what it is about, but I look forward to it every week. I wasn't 100% sure about episode 1 because I thought there would be a single protagonist, which would have been disadvantageous given who episode 1 focused on, but I like the characters and the show's artistic style, particularly in episode 2, is great, as far as I'm concerned.

Episode 1 is only ok. The beginning of Episode 2 is what sold me. Momo top tier.

Haha, yes, she's unexpectedly likable indeed. Watched episode 4 just now and I'm probably repeating myself, but I just love this show's style.

Whyyy couldn't they have just adapted Heaven's Feel; such a squandered opportunity. Hearing Kotomine's voice again makes me that much more disappointed that we're going to miss out on the Kotomine vs. True Assassin + Zoken smackdown yet again.

Considering it's an original arc, we've no idea what they'll borrow or the new things they'll add. IIRC, the first animation borrowed elements from each of the other storylines, while mostly maintaining the first scenario. I honestly find it interesting that Type-Moon can keep coming back to Fate instead of animating something newer or something 'more' original.

It's going to be 25 episodes long, unless they go completely off the rails early on I'm not sure how much room they'll have to be different from the 2006 airing. Something like Rin getting killed off on Day 3 or Bazette turning up alive out of nowhere maybe?

Yozakura Quartet(Re-Watch)
Where do I begin? The absolutely amazing music, the gorgeous visuals with the great color palette, smooth animation, the great fight choreography, the rawness in the VAs, the awesome characters, The ridiculous attention to detail such as the velocity difference between the two moving vehicles. Season 2 when?

Hmm.. I never did pick up quartet again because I was confused. There's: "Yozakura Quartet", "Yozakura Quartet: Hana no Uta", "Yozakura Quartet: Hoshi no Umi", and "Yozakura Quartet: Tsuki ni Naku". I watched the original (which my friend sad was a bad adaptation). What order should I watch the other three in?

Storyline order, watch Hana no Uta to episode 8, then Hoshi no Umi, then back to Hana no Uta.
Not sure exactly where Tsuki ni Naku fits other than sometime a bit after Hoshi no Umi.
