Hunter x Hunter 129
God it's taking forever to get to Gon and I am completely fine with that. The character development is too good.
No Game No Life 06
Wow, so good. What a creative twist to a common game. See, this is why I love animation. Where else can you find such absurd ideas and situations put into motion? And preview gave me a hearty chuckle.
Mahouka 06
Yes, some action! Still entertained.
HxH130 is setting up for some amazing stuff, I just know it. I don't know whether I should watch the next 5-10 episodes immediately as they come out, or if I should try to forget about it for a month or two and then marathon them.
Dude, knowing what comes next, I am so hyped. I feel it's a must watch asap. Some people don't like the agonizing weekly wait, but that painful wait is part of the satisfaction.
Anyone watching Majin Bone? The writing is kind of weak but the animation is fluid (reminds me a bit of Birdy the Mighty: Decode) and the fights are well choreographed/animated.
There's no thread for it specifically, so I'll just mention here that the first Persona 3 movie has been released and subbed. I'm watching it now, will have opinions later
Edit: First movie was pretty good. The animation was gorgeous as well, especially every time they called their persona's. Example:
Spoiler: show
The MC isn't as charming as P4's MC, but he did have his moments.
Spoiler: show
I saw the raws up a while ago, time to watch the shit out of this.
I actually grabbed the bluray box set. Very worth it since I enjoy the hell out of Persona. Agreeing with what's already been said on the animation being fucking beautiful and the way they portray the fighting is a lot more what I wanted to see vs what P4A gave us. Probably going to watch it a ton more and now comes the wait for Aigis haha
They watched Star Driver in episode 7 of nanana, I can't handle all these references this season. Also, nee-san is olev. So many good girls in this show.
Ker, neregate has their v2 Summer 2014 chart out. It's thread time.
Nvm, did it me self.
Haikyuu!! is show of the season, hands down. I don't know what the rest of you see in some of this drivel.
Need to get on the volleyball level.
I can back this up. We're getting spoiled with sports anime between Haikyuu, YowaPedal, Baby Steps (a little slower paced compared to the first two), Kuroko (was a season ago and while not my cup of tea, a lot of people seem to like it) and Hajime no Ippo (again, last season).
I tried to get into the Haikyuu manga when it first released but the art style just.. I dunno, I couldn't really get into it back then. The anime has been fantastic so far though, and when it finishes I might just try to pick up the manga again
Edit: Not quite my SotS, that has belonged to YowaPedal for a while now <3
I can agree that Haikyuu is really good. Enjoying every week so far.
Yowa is amazing but since we're 30 episodes in I was more putting that under last season.
Baby steps is pretty A+ as well. Took me a bit to get over the animation but I love the MC.
Baby steps is ftw.
It's awesome how I hate anything related to sports irl but will get down so hard on sports anime
Between Baby Steps, Haikyuu and Ping-Pong, I'm pretty much set for sports anime. All of them so good.
