Yea, like Eurell said above, I don't think anybody was under anybody else's control, except for maybe Fury and Hill and Coulson interactions. Even between Fury and Cap, none of the interactions felt like orders, which is a nice thing about the universe and their relationships. The group sees Fury and Cap as their leaders, but the relationships are all of mutual respect, and not of subordination. Any one of them can probably walk out on Fury whenever they want, and I get a feeling they won't be pursued (by Fury) as going AWOL.

You stick in something like the Sokovia Accords, and it changes everything.

    Comics:
Cap is anti registration on principles, and Tony is pro registration because
    Spoiler: show
of being necessary for accountability purposes. He is actually anti registration, but feels as it's a necessary evil. MCU will probably spin it because of Ultron in his mind, and Bucky as a reasoning front to outside.

Could see why Tony would be pro-registration after Avengers 2. Probably feels a tremendous amount of guilt over the rampages of Hulk and Ultron.

I never had a problem with the registration, it's the way they plan to use them to police everyone after.

Hawkeye and BW are under direct control of Fury / Hill at every point up until ~end of Cap2.

They do a bad job of showing it in the MCU but BW is Fury's ace in the hole.
They are shield first Avengers second up to around then in the story so far. Which is consistent with most of the storylines I know of.

BW I absolutely agree. But Hawkeye? Only SHIELD order we've ever seen him follow in the MCU is when he aims at Thor in the first Thor movie.

Even If I agreed on Hawkeye though, 1-2 people is not The Avengers following Fury's orders all the time.

Yes, I understand that, but the way I see it is that they're really following Fury, and not SHIELD. If the director of SHIELD changed to somebody they didn't know, I don't think they would still be there, and even if they were, definitely not with the same loyalty. They trust Fury, and Fury trusts them. That's how it all works.

You throw in this UN Panel from the Accords, and all of that trust disappears. These heroes would be following a committee of possibly elected officials, most/all of whom they probably don't know. There's no more trust. There's just a pecking order. And I can't see any of these heroes willingly submitting themselves to a pecking order.

I can see a "necessary evil" argument, but however it turns out, I just hope they can do both sides justice in the ~2 hours or so, while not skimping on great action.

Kinda off topic but anybody hear in the grapevine of a solo hulk movie in the works? I thought marvel said there were no plans for a solo Hulk movie but down the street from my place in DT LA (at one of the high rises) they are filming for "a hulk movie." The idiot on set even pointed to the building they were shooting where he is supposed to jump off of (obviously in CGI). Somebody else on set immediately cut him off and proceeded to go in about how it's really a toothbrush commercial.

I'm assuming it was for Thor; Ragnarok but didn't think that had even started filming

Solo Hulk movie is a no go because of legal issues last I heard not just because of trepidation over if it will do well. Think its Paramount possibly wrong there, that has the rights to a "solo" Hulk movie but not appearances of the Hulk. Might just be distribution rights could be more I just remember some other company has their hand in solo Hulk movie pot.

Everything I've read about Thor: Ragnarok is that its gonna be a Hulk/Thor buddy movie, probably the closest you'll get to a solo Hulk movie ever again.

I dunno, if movie studios can set aside bs (all for money gain I'm sure) to bring us a new Spiderman and the legal mess that was the hobbit still came through to produce movies, I think there is a decent chance for a solo hulk film

Universal still holds the distribution rights, and Disney don't play that game. Nothing has been said if they are waiting for them to expire or what, but Norton Hulk was 2008. Paramount was distributing the others for Marvel, Disney bought them out.

Besides a Planet/World War Hulk movie, what would they even do? Everything builds to the phases, so it wouldn't be needed for 3. No real info on phase 4, but that's still 5 years out.

Maybe after Infinity War we'll see Planet/World War Hulk.

Black Panther will appear early in the film during the serious tone, Spider-Man & Ant-Man later in the film to lighten the mood
