in an upcoming Empire Magazine story, it’s revealed that Martin Freeman will play Everett Ross, a character that will certainly be familiar to fans of the Black Panther comics. In the movie, he is part of the Joint Counter Terrorist Centre in the upcoming Marvel film, and works, as you can see, alongside Emily VanCamp‘s Agent 13 – if the uniforms on the men behind them are to be taken literally, they seem to be in Germany.

Of course, fans of Black Panther know Ross as a longtime supporting character in the series, who is a foremost expert on Wakanda, the realm that Black Panther rules over.

They didn't really define her powers in the movie that well though so they could give her a bit. Kind of depends on where they go with it exactly

For that matter they haven't really defined the stones either other than big sources of energy. And Vision's carebear stare at the end with the gem wasn't really all that impressive. More like just another beam of similar power to go with Thor and Ironman. So maybe it isn't all powerful in a general sense (though still could be in the specific things that gem is supposed to do) or maybe Vision can't really fully tap into it. So really need to see where they go with that too.

iirc vision has the mind gem? Assuming they actually start differentiating between the gems and what they do it might not work that great on her given they seemed to give her powers that seemed to include some forms of mental manipulation and the movie had her and her brother gaining powers from experiments with it in the first place.

Theres 0 chance in hell that the mind gem won't completely dominate Scarlet Witch's powers in the movie. Come on mang.

That's exactly what's going to happen. Both are powered by infinity stones and can't tap into their true power and since neither side wants to kill the other it's balanced.

Just discard the comic lore right now, cinematic Vision and Witch are fledgling heroes which makes for a fair fight. Vision should have the upper hand since he actually has the stone but we all know he only bad boy using the stone at full power will be Thanos.

If anything, i expect to see no less than two beam struggles and some wicked aerial game from these two.

Scarlet Witch was able to undo the mind stone's control on that Korean doctor, so I wouldn't call it a stretch to say that they're roughly equal in the movies.

The Kursed guy gave Thor more of a beat down than Malekith + reality stone did, so it definitely seems like the movies are scaling back the power of the stones, outside of plot devices (e.g. destroying the universe with reality stone or Xandar with power stone). Which is kind of a good thing, because it'd be very hard to make a movie interesting with the stones at full power.

Well, it's clear that the Kursed got their powers with the Kursed stones. But it's not clear that the Kursed stones were powered by the Aether / reality stone.

If the Kursed stones were truly powered by the Aether, Malekith could've made more once he reacquired the Aether. Malekith did say that Algrim would be the last of the Kursed, implying no way to make more Kursed stones, with or without the Aether.

But hey, could be just movie-logic.

Well the stones in the comics are stupidly over-powered, so there's no way they'd be as strong in the movies and have any plot.

The mind stone is supposed to give you access to everyone's thought's in the universe... and be able to control anyone in the universe. That's end game right there. It's basically all knowledge.

The power stone is supposed to be unlimited power.

These are fucking -infinity- stones.

So far they've written the Scarlett witch to be pretty weak, and I hope that changes.
