Cool episode!
This show is really fun. I really like the actor playing Constantine, I think he's doing well. Kinda crazy to think it's in the same world as Flash/Arrow(which I believe they did say is accurate) but a crossover would be neat.
They're on different networks, so it seems highly unlikely that they'd ever crossover. I think it would be very cool to see, but I don't think it will happen.
I don't think they could have gotten anyone better to play Constantine. They did an amazing job casting him. I like who they got to play Zed too, but I've only read a few issues with her in it, so I don't know how close she is to the character in the comics.
Zed is very different from the comic version, they're really just using the name and nothing else.
Stinks the show probably wont get picked up for another season. But kinda in a dead spot on network TV on a Friday night so late. Also having a main character who is pretty much non stop a dick is hard for casual viewers I think. It worked for House but doesn't seem to for this hah. Holding out hope though! I do agree if it's not WB I don't count on a cross over but you never know. Also why I don't really care for all these new series in production on TNT/Syfy etc. They should just make WB the DC Channel. A new superhero every night!
Idk why you would ever put a brand new show on Friday night.
I guess no one is watching this? They introduced alot more of the main story.
I finished the last 2 episodes yesterday and it's sad they waited to episode 8 to reveal a tiny bit of background. 8 was the first episode also that was more than average
I know they've shown some episodes out of order, so that hasn't helped too much
I mean I really like the guy who plays John, I really like Zed and Chas too but it feels right now that the show lacks direction. We know that the rising darkness is coming but the show in my opinion really needs to introduce some sort of a villain already that could content with Constantine. Papa Midnight was ok but did not stand out. They need to give us bit more of the central story and more often. Even Supernatural throws in progression episode once ever 3 episodes at least. 8 is a bit much.
The Supernatural comparison is funny because they have blatantly ripped off multiple storylines from the Hellblazer comic over the years, and admitted as much.
Whereas here they seem to not want to pull directly from the comic for the most part here.
I enjoy the show but i hadn't heard much about it until it was already 6 episodes into the season. Would be nice to know more about the characters backstory at least chaz healing etc.
Mark Margolis (Breaking Bad) cast as Felix Faust

bringing in a ringer, huh?
NBC is considering moving the show to SyFy and renaming it to Hellblazer, rating slide being the factor

yes plz
Wouldn't be the first time NBC did this either so it could work out well for the show.
should move it to hbo or showtime and add nudity and ratings will go up.
