Is there some trick to the penguin? He seemed to have some PDT for most of the fight and we could not get it down. Maybe some extreme Guard?

I could be wrong but when I fought it it seem to be more of a really strong gaurd/evasion
You can't guard against a ranged attack, but he is definitely a longer fight. We've been attributing it to him being a monk, hence higher HP. Also I don't think he's technically flying, so does piercing get bonus damage against him?
Well I meant maybe it's interefering or something. Anyways just tried on my characters. I could make the ones from the first delve but not 2nd. I haven't beaten all the delve bosses but I have beaten all the naakual recently and tried with all the RoE KIs and after turning them in. Done all quests other than Geo af/af2 and all mission and have completed all available assignments
Yeah but typically birds have a piercing damage bonus, which is really more akin to birds and less to the flying I suppose. I've always equated flying to piercing bonus since it's pretty common, but I suppose that's not the best way to go about it currently. Regardless, I think a lot of people are having a longer fight on him as they don't get the piercing damage bonus (since most people do this fight with rangers they'd have the bonus on the first 3 NMs).
Speaking of, does anyone know what procs him, and what the proc does?
Or maybe it's just something retarded with their spaghetti code where having a certain quest open somewhere is blocking us from being able to get the KIs. I remember back in January they fixed some glitch where if you tried to exchange AMAN vouchers while in possession of more than 50,000 Fields of Valor points it would cause the quest "Succor to the Sidhe" (the old fights that let you augment weapons with the Pixie NPC from WotG 75 era) to reset and any weapons you had stored with Callisto to disappear. I got a kick out of that because it's just some random combination of unrelated content.
Looking over nuke staff on JP site: +15 MACC or MAB max with 10MND and INT. Nothing to see here.
Does T3 yorcia maybe feast off dead people? It killed our WHM mule 2 times when lowmanning from aggro and started out with like 400 endrain.
EDIT: Hmm did 400 endrain this time before deaths. Maybe need steady dmg? No debuffs?
this is the JPwiki part for it:
Code:時間経過、もしくは通常攻撃のヒット毎に吸収量増加。 上限不明。1410まで確認。 連携を発生させることで吸収量減少。
Edit2: Note on Yorcia T1. If you apply a HELIX before you blind it the helix will continue to tick at its initial damage and not be affected by the Blinded MDT it gained.
Edit3: On Yorcia T2 I think you just need an unresisted Water spell to remove the PDT. Nuking Water in Curegear didn't seem to do anything. maybe the damage determines how long the -PDT is gone or maybe the tier of the spell.
What methods do people use to break Wopket's aura? We had a COR and SCH MBing and it was still taking a bit to go down, long enough for it to get messy with massive uproots and a couple timbers. Is just a matter of luck with breaking it or is there a damage threshold? Sort of like a shield?
I use GEO and SCH mbing aero 3/4. I think it's random, sometimes it comes off really fast and sometimes it takes a good 15% damage done
Anyone know what's up with this?

prob cause you didn't blind it!
Ya it's enstone gets bigger the lower it gets. Use a good barstonera and keep the guy that blinds focused on it.
So for Azeman, how do you overcome those 80k pembraces? I know silence prevents them, but after a couple silences it wears very quickly. This is in fracture with 18 people. We had primarily rangers.
Was able to resilence it all the way through lowmanning it with THF WAR PLD WHM SCH using a shitload of +MACC. It does wear off after 30secs-1minute but didn't get a single pembrace. So check back with your enfeebling mage about capped skill / some more MACC. There really doesn't seem to be any other way around it.
Wind Threnody also helps. Our WHM has about a 50% land rate with Silence. He spams it when it drops.
If you were really anal about it, you could have your melee turn when silence drops and have the bard sleep Azeman (he sleeps fine for the first half dozen times or so).
If you're taking 18 people then 1 of the nukers can be rdm for saboteur silence, rdm should be doing nothing but silence as soon as it wears. Our issue had been overachieving mages who refused to sit there and watch the log for it to wear off and try spamming other spells inbetween, which just isn't worth it.
The longer the fight drags on the more you'll resist/duration cut on silence and the higher the chance you'll end up using Ontic.
