Delve II NM auras are brought back up by specific TP moves, unlike Delve I, so it's completely dependant on their TP roulette for how fast their aura goes back up. Cailimh brings his back up with Crashing Thunder, and Wopket brings his back up with Uproot. I'm not sure about Utkux; I haven't fought him or Kumhau enough to notice.
Our setup is 2x WAR (R&E) WHM BRD SCH COR. The 2 WARs is just a result of ppl having the job and not other big slashers. Their ACC setups are at about 960 for R and 930 for E with Ionis (before food). We of course do double Mad + Hunter's Roll for mandy. From my experience I never seen a big spike in MEVA with this setup. In my own imagination the big spikes occur when you MISS too much and when the HP doesn't drop steadily. Our BRD never complained about not being able to Finale the Regen.
I can GRAVITY it with SCH pretty much full time in +200 MACC. So I make sure I'm 3rd on hatelist on it with fire nukes and when it hate resets I run in and tank 3-4 seconds in PDT set till WARs get hate back. Rinse & repeat. The NM is still annoying but it can be a somewhat controlled fight.
When we made first contact with the mandy and fought it outside unprepared in a big MISS galore its MEVA spikes went even beyond a Mythics SCHs MACC capabilities. This is all just personal experience and evidence but maybe you find something helpful.
Delve 2 NMs either reset their Damage threshold for removing auras or the threshold is cumulative. In an 18 man Wopket the other night we had 2 GEO and a SCH nuking from 100-30% about 7-8min non stop and never saw aura drop once but we eventually wiped cuz of literally back to back Timber spams and hate resets destroying whms
Can Utkux and Cailimh use their ultimate move right away when their aura is up, or do they need to use a certain number of moves when aura is up to gain access, similar to how Wopket needs to use Uproot several times before it gains access to Timber?
Utkux can Glassy Nova right after Polar Roar but this is very rare, he favors/spams Glacial Tomb. Cailimh only uses Static Prison.
I don't think Crashing Thunder is a completely random TP move unlike to Uproot and Polar Roar. It's always the first choice of Cailimh at start (and when <50% and <25% maybe too).
My group always attempts to remove aura via magic bursted T4/T5's. Typically it comes off with 1-2 attempts, but we usually say fuck it below 20% and just deal with it.
We're still beading Yorcia and Kamhir, but we tend to run 18 man. Haven't managed to figure out a way to reduce time spent on belladonna and mandie just yet, though stun sure helps on the bella (you can stun everything but charm and prevent amnesia at least). Kamhir I think we just need practice on / make some adjustments for more magic damage. Marjami we have on farm status, podarge was the only roadblock, which we got around by bringing a smn and just alex the paladin / overkill at 51%.
Sure
Spoiler: show
Got lucky on the Hag pieces back when I actually wanted MAB on them.
As for 18 man runs.... isn't it just horrible TP after TP spam ?
Cailimh's first tp move is always crashing thunder in my experience, so aura always goes up somewhere above 85%. He only uses static prison while aura is up. I have also killed it without it ever using crashing thunder again but normally it will use it for a second time around 30-5%.
I've seen Wopket use Timber immediately after putting aura up but the tp move selection seems to change as hp gets lower or the chance of Timber increases with each use of Uproot. I haven't parsed that its just an eyeballed observation.
The worst thing about the auras is growing DT they gain from it, Wopket damage can stall massively if you leave aura up for long periods.
Have your WHM stand near the DD, after dreamflower the BRD use cure 1 to wake the WHM up, then WHM curaga the DDs to wake DD up and voke the mandy. Mandy often go back to the DD easily with 1 voke. You must dispel every regen though, or else the AoE debuff on the WHM may cause a wipe.
I've never notice meva spikes with a dark shot macc set, dark shot almost never miss.
Never really had an issue dispelling him with a brd using finale. Hate reset is easy to get around, just have the WHMs stand next to the DD and have the bard or other support stand out of dream flower range so they can cure1 the WHM who can then cura. His EVA just have to use high ACC sets/buffs (boost-DEX, torpor if you have a GEO, sushi, etc.)Has anyone figured out the zone buffs for delve II yet?
Also, for groups that are going 5/5 on Yorcia, how are you handling the mandie? Specifically how are you minimizing the annoyance of hate reset and his weird evasion / meva spikes (thus being unable to dispel regen)
If you are doing 18 man the Morta is 10x worse than the mandy. SE really fucked over 18 man groups with Delve II, it's a lot harder than 6~8man. Not going to get into the debate of it but for Morta we usually have the DD spread out around her so nobody is next to each other and the moment someone is charmed you turn around to avoid TP feed. It can be really random on how much time she sucks up depending on her charm spamming. You can also try a party of RNG and have the PLD fealty and reset his JA with random deal, and have the RNG overkill and try to burn it down fast. This means you will need the RNG to have melee builds for the tree though (not as hard as it sounds, I parsed well with ruinator axe build and had decent ACC.)We're still beading Yorcia and Kamhir, but we tend to run 18 man. Haven't managed to figure out a way to reduce time spent on belladonna and mandie just yet, though stun sure helps on the bella (you can stun everything but charm and prevent amnesia at least).
