Okay look the movie was really good but I don't even care that much because watching the Pixar short "Bao" right before it was one of the strangest movie going experiences I've ever had. My theater was utterly confused, laughed at the absurdity of it, moved to tears at one point, and the most audible collective *gasp* I've ever heard in a theater when

I really enjoyed what I had saw, they managed to keep the magic of the first and greatly improve on it.

For real. Movie was at least as good as the first, but every Jack Jack scene was even better.

The Bao short was pretty wtf. I wanted to love Incredibles 2 but it was just ok for me. Maybe the 14 years of nostalgia hyped it up for me, I felt the middle dragged too long and the only real worthwhile scenes were with the baby :/

This movie is dope af. I'm pretty bias though b/c the original is my favorite movie. I'll go see this again because, like the first, I enjoyed the entire thing so much. I think maybe I was hoping for a little.. I dunno.. more payout with Bob at home with the kids, but plot portion with Violet was super sweet so I didn't mind at all.

The short, Bao, is easily one of the weirdest analogies I've ever seen. Seeing a few people post about how weird it was prepared me for what a crazy ride it was going to be. Did not disappoint.

Saw it last night, really enjoyed it. The first one is amazing, this one didn't disappoint either. I wish they had made the main villain a little less obvious, but kids movie I understand. Worth a watch in theaters for sure.

And the Disney machine keeps on churning.

The first movie I don't remember a whole lot of the merch side of. But this one will For. Sure. have a shit ton of toys, games, etc, etc, probably some spin-off shows and whatnot.

Think it was also the 4th biggest opening of all time. Think the only ones that made more was Avengers: Infinity War, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Black Panther.

I'm reading 8th-largest opening of all-time. But still, that's goddamn ridiculous. I'm seeing this later tonight myself. I expected it to do well but not that well

I dunno about spin off shows. Pixar usually doesn't back that sort of stuff and iirc Brad Bird was against the idea of an Incredibles series waaaaay back after the first one. Part of me would love to have more of them to watch but I think overall it would cheapen the impact and uniqueness of the movie(s).

It was great. You're old and should feel bad. Jack jack was definitely the highlight throughout.

I think for sure this gets a spin-off of some sort. Definitely a 3rd movie at this rate. Big Hero 6 has a tv series spin-off. Cars has 4 movies, a bunch of shorts and a spin-off (Planes, which also has 3 movies). Monsters Inc had a prequel and now apparently has a TV series spin-off coming up exclusively for the Disney streaming service. Finding Nemo got Finding Dori. And of course Toy Story 4 is on the way. The more popular movies are definitely getting some loving and given this opening box-office result will all but guarantee that Incredibles does too.

I'm not saying they SHOULD whore out this franchise. Don't get me wrong lol. But they definitely will.

I'm pretty sure they won't do anything without Brad Bird. They already asked him to do Incredibles 3, but he hasn't decided yet. This is why it took 14 years to get a sequel.
