Choppy and extremely glitchy. Cant even bother to pay attention to the story because the game is so poorly optimized. Did i mention the character models are frumpy and have an almost melting mannaquin quality to them? The combat, in comparison to other games with similar mechanics, is weird. The attacks impact the enemies with the feeling of a hot knife through butter. That is to say it feels like play fighting. More often than not the weapon does not even touch the enemy you are fighting. The climbing is laughably simplistic. Hold R2 and X while holding UP on the left stick. The character whatever its name was would just glitch in place moving up every building. Jumping between buildings feels silly. Every jump was a glitch. I dont know what else to say. except do not waste your money on this rushed yearly disappointment.

Are these glitch reports from all platforms, or one platform in particular? Is one platform better than another?

Edit: I've said it before and I'll say it again, the characters looks worse in this one than it does AC3.

From what I understand it is bad on all platforms including PC. It is kinda sad because AC has been one of my favorite series but they need to stop pushing them out every year. They are are verging on COD level of over saturation.

CoD is over saturated but at least they're spitting out quality products (for what it is) for the most part. Ubisoft was shooting themselves in the foot before this game was even released with the bs they were spouting (lower fps is more cinematic etc).

This game is also making a very strong case for paid reviews, since "professional" reviews are definitely not matching up with what people are experiencing.

Yea that is true (regarding COD) I haven't played a AC game since Brotherhood. The only one I might pick up is IV just because I like the pirate theme. And this game would be good without the bugs/frame rate problems.

I would play a COD type game if they made more WW 2 themed. I think Call of Duty 2 is still my favorite of the series.

If you havent played Black Flag then just pretend thats the AC game that came out this year and play it. You wont regret it.

yeah given the price I paid I'm not that mad, and some of the glitches are more funny than anything, but if I'd paid full price I'd be pretty pissed.
