Yea even with glitches and bugs I still plan on getting this sometime. Since I've played every AC besides 3 and 4.

Yeah I basically only paid 35$. B2g1 at target and went in with friends plus I had a 5$ gift card for preordering.
If you play the other games and are an accomplishment whore like me than the initiates system means there's oodles of content.
Just started the game. Haven't encountered any bugs yet, though I'm sure I will. Whatever the case, Arno's induction was an awesome and well-done memory scene.
Except the part where I died like seven times at the sliding part because man do I suck at that shit.
lol

Ubi Montreal complaining that the main office didn't gave them enough time for the game, and main office saying Montreal will have more time in future games
It's almost like rushing out a game on a yearly basis might be a bad idea.
I might just be grumpy this week but I'm really tired of devs shoving games out now and then rushing to patch it after people have already spent money on it.
I am pretty grumpy about devs forcing reviewers to hold their reviews or not sending them review copies until after launch. I feel cheated I guess is where I am going with this.
A hold on reviews is always a bad sign. It basically guarantees that the game has issues but they don't want the public to know about it during the initial sales rush.
Nothing changes if people keep buying the product, except for the worse. Much like a small child testing their own limits of parental supervision, these companies will attempt more and more of this "rush now, patch later" until people stop buying. Maybe eventually they'll stop patching altogether, or charge a price per patch.
$59.99 base price plus $.99 per patch on our now premium plan.
Lucavi you always make me look forward to the future.
Seriously though, devs who are pulling this shit are getting on my 'do not buy list' until I see enough reviews to warrant a purchase.
I'm not going to pay for this bullshit out the gate anymore unless you're a company who sells me a working product.
I might have just crawled out of bed on the cranky side today so if I'm unreasonable I'll apologize later but I'm boiling hot with anger at the moment.
Edit: I don't know what it's going to take nowadays to stop this. So many companies want to get their money up front and have their customers do their bug testing. The DLC/microtransaction unlockable shit in games has reached dumbshit levels I can't take it. The fucking mobile gaming is toxic with their charging gullible people into paying $$$ to hurry and get advanced virtual items or tasks completed in their simple as fuck games. Are people really satisfied with this shit? This is how we envisioned games to be right? On disc DLC? Buggy game-breaking games? Games that can't fucking save? Charging 10$ for costumes where 10 years ago you would just unlock it for playing the game and mastering things within the game. Removing large amounts of content to release games on schedule? Copy/pasting the same dungeon 5x in your single-player game while slightly changing the objects sitting around the room or the spawn location of enemies? Ignoring staff who are saying "it's not ready!" to release it to fans of your product? :\ Man I'm fucking irritated. Maybe it's because good people are getting laid off at my job. <-- please note I am not targeting just Ubisoft for this. It's been something I've been hating on many companies all over for this kind of shit. We all know who is guilty for each of these. Sometimes repetitively.
I'm pleased they're addressing it. I don't know how confident I am that they'll be able to fix the issues people are complaining about, but at least they're not sticking their head in the sand about it. And I'm hesitant to blame the devs since I'm sure they didn't want to put the product out as it is.
I did laugh at this, though:
I'm pretty sure the issue people are having is that they exist at all.In addition, we are already looking into many of the other issues you’ve told us about and we have more updates planned. This list doesn’t capture everything, but here are the most widely-reported problems we’ve heard about from you:
Frame rate issues.
Graphical and collision issues.
Matchmaking co-op issues.
Helix Credits issues.
Outside of the bugs and what not what do you guys think of the game ?
Like it so far, although I'm only just into Sequence 4.
