if I'm reading this right I have to give some props for a pretty decent 'apology'

basically everyone gets the first DLC from the season pass for free, season pass is discontinued, people who owned season pass will still get all content (and will presumably be sold separately), season pass holders get a free Ubi game.

It's a bug with the lighting during certain times of day.

Ugh I can't believe how hard they fucked this game up.
I managed to get my money back on this game and I'm glad I did. I wouldn't even bother trying it at 20 dollars, the glitches were unreal. I spent about 15 minutes trying to get into the Assassins hideout because Arno kept climbing up the damn wall, or jumping at the wrong time, or spinning when I didn't want him to spin. Just horrid controls, glitches, and overall presentation.

Very very disappointed. This series has taken a serious dive since AC3 and killing off Desmond and it just can't recuperate. Was Ezio that strong of a character that nothing better can come after him?

Arno is basically Ezio so I don't think that has anything to do with it. Edward was excellent as well.

I got through to the end of Sequence 5 with no major issues other than falling through the floor twice (both of which were hilarious to me because of when they happened). Haven't touched it in over a week though since Ubisoft keeps patching it and I've been occupied with school/Master Chief Collection/Dragon Age: Inquisition. What I've played of it I've rather liked though. Still not sure how I feel about the combat but it's still better than AC1's system so there's that.

“We have received and confirmed reports that some Xbox One players who have previously applied Patch 3 are seeing a 40GB download instead of the expected 6.7GB download,” Ubisoft wrote in an update on the Assassin’s Creed website.

“Unfortunately, an issue with the patch downloading process is replacing the entire game instead of just the parts affected by the patch. This is obviously not the expected behavior, and we apologize that many of you will have to wait longer than expected to complete this download.”

“We are working with Microsoft on a solution to reduce the total download to the intended size so that you can get back into the game faster, but as of now we have no ETA on when this will be resolved,” Ubisoft said.

I hope the game is fun though for people to go through all of this.

FYI, if you get the free we're sorry for fucking up Unity game, you can't partake in any lawsuit/class action against them over the game

Dead Kings is available in the PSN store as of now. I'm assuming it's probably available for XBone as well.

So far it's pretty fun, but I hope you like underground adventuring!
