And its gone on an error. No hitter still intact
Rios totally at fault on that error. What a fucking joke
And the no hitter is gone.
2nd time he's lost it with 1 out to go
Damnit, belt broke his thumb getting hit by a pitch.
Pablo likes swinging

old but yeah, hit and run and his late swing still interrupted the catcher enough to make a bad throw
Jose Fernandez donezo
haven't seen anything conclusive yet but they are fearing he will need TJ
there is a glimmer of hope for my fantasy pitching staff :X
Well, the Cubs are done scoring runs for the week.
The rise of the TJ is ridiculous. So many young guys pitching hard and all year round while their body is still developing and it's coming back to haunt them so early in their careers. :/
I honestly think youth leagues are just as much of a cause. Hell my manager has two kids, they do both official little league then a fall league. Both of them are catchers, and also getting 1 on 1 training with a private instructor who was a former MLB catcher. Kids are getting less and less of an offseason to rest their arms.
that's exactly what it is mel. they pitch year round. Arizona fall league, winter ball, spring training, regular season back to the Arizona fall league..... used to be that when baseball ended for kids, they went and played football or basketball or some other winter sport that let their elbow rest.
Human elbow wasn't designed to throw a ball with that kind of force and at those angles.
I remember in little league the one year I pitched, coaches kept saying, only throw fastballs. Your arm is developing, none of that breaking ball shit. Do they still preach that for the younger kids?
