Whole lotta schadenfreude up in here.
Whole lotta schadenfreude up in here.
I'd be giddy if Brian Wilson is on there. Guy turned into a huge sniveling bitch after the Giants didn't offer him anything more than an incentive laden contract after his second tommy john surgery.
Javy Baez batting 2nd and also playing 2nd in his debut tonight. So excite.
Giants may be making a run at worst outfield defense of all time with Morse in left, Pence in center, and Belt in right.
Adam Dunn pitching for the White Sox.
Oh by the way Javy Baez hits an opposite field HR in the 12th inning, Cubs win.

I'm pretty convinced the Blue Jays are the new roid capital of MLB.
As for Ortiz, I don't think he'll come out as being linked to any of this. With him, I think one of the following has to be true:
- He cares enough about his image/legacy to not use PEDs.
- He cares enough about his image/legacy to not get caught (i.e. not deal directly with anyone who could or would ever implicate him).
I hope we all in this thread realize that Ortiz tested positive for a banned substance back in '03 right?

From what I heard on the radio, there are no "Alex Rodriguez's" on this list. Which pretty much rules out Ortiz Jeter Cabrera Trout Puljos etc.
Basically no huge huge names.
That's exactly my point. The same list that names a bunch of guys who BBWAA members now ignore had one of their beloved heroes on it. No one talks about Papi and PEDs, and he's one of the most obvious users. And he'll probably be a 1st or 2nd ballot HoFer because he's a "clutch playoff performer." What a bunch of bullshit.
Edit: Good on Buck for bringing it up. Always liked him.
Oh believe me, I have never forgotten about Ortiz's positive test and mention it pretty much every time he comes up. I hate no one in sports more than I hate him, and Red Sox fans in general. He is the scum of the earth to me.
Buck is love, Buck is life.
Guys. Javy baez guys

No?

Spoiler: show
Your boy Theo claiming Hamels on waivers. MLB Network guys saying it's not worth it. They say Cubs apparently have money to get big name pitching but it would make more sense to sign someone in the offseason rather than giving up prospects for Hamels.
Welp, Jays blow another one. They're toast. Gonna be out of contention even before Lind and Edwin get back. This is what happens when you have a GM who sits on his hands. Gonna be rooting for KC to get the second wild card spot (and hoping the As or Angels have a late collapse and let another team squeak in for a wild card spot).
Anybody see this? It's always scary when it happens.
