Altima/Maxim are okay. I had leased a 2010 Fusion that was pretty nice and the Subaru Legacy/Impreza are pretty nice as well. My opinion on Subaru is probably biased; my family has 3 of them currently varying in years from 99-14.

Oh and I found there are different low key routes to take, the one I was taking was just a guarantee cluster fuck, the only drawback about the back roads is that if someone is going slow in front of you, you're fucked. It's only 2 back and forth lanes.

Driver's Ed reminder since it's not something people may not be entirely used to, but if the yellow lines are broken on the road, you're legally allowed to pass people on 2-lane roads. However, this tends to be reserved for long stretches of straight road. So if it's all windy, forget about it. Additionally, if one line is solid and another is broken, only the lane with the broken is allowed to pass. Naturally, you need to be careful when doing this. If a turn or another car is within a few hundred feet, probably best not to try. Don't lollygag, either. Get over, zoom past, then back into lane. If the slow asshole just suddenly decides to speed, don't try to race them and just fall back into the lane.

i really like my scion xb. throwin that out there. its small enough to fit into compact spaces but you sit more vertically, like you would in a truck, so its comfortable for me and my buddies. i'm 6'3", a couple of my friends are the same height. it is never crowded, unless someone has to sit bitch. but then, that's why its called sitting bitch.

Late bumpin this shit but on the USAA talk heres some truth, i worked in USAA as a contractor at their main building for 9 months and it was hell. While they provide a great service *i used to have them* and are a massive employer of military there's a side that the publics not shown and its ugly if you knew 1/2 of the shit that actually happens @ USAA you'd probably drop them outta principle ( i wouldn't though they will fuck you over if you do).

This is so true, I really don't understand why people get so butthurt about me passing them. It's not personal. Really.

I'm usually the passer, but when I do become the passee (usually when someone wants to go higher than the speed limit or higher than my 5 over) I'll lift to slow down or brake so the pass goes quicker.

Decided to stick it out at my the higher paying job. The vacation policy and pathetic "incentive" they offered at the bank was far too weak. Just going to upgrade, get a newer car and enjoy the easiest job in the world. All I do is schedule medical appointments for people over the phone. I get paid slightly more because of the tier level of Espanol. I thought it was going to be a nightmare like any call center type place but I only get about 20 calls throughout the day. Since there is a lot of down time I am FINALLY continuing reading the Game of Thrones books. A huge plus side is not having to deal with moronic/insane customers directly anymore, or meeting some stupid sales quota, finally get my own desk, co-workers are cool, a lot more girls than I thought there was for sure.

My PC at work has a pretty damn decent i5 that is a bit better than what I have. It's definitely time for an upgrade when your work computer is better than your personal.

I was hoping to get some advice on shopping for a car, I am not looking for something brand new, but nothing older than 2008. I hear that lately Toyota's haven't been too good. Are Honda's still pretty good to go after? I must sound so lame having to ask, but I would rather hear personal opinions. Unfortunately around here, Japanese brand cars aren't popular and most of my friends own American. The only one I see and a LOT of them, are Nissan Altima's, everywhere.. which also seem like pretty decent cars. Yeah I am pretty stuck on decisions but I still have 3 weeks to think it over and do some research.

Honda's in terms of reliability and resale value are still one of if not the best. In terms of AAA stats they are one of the least towed vehicles. The ones that we do notice a trend are often 10 years old or more. Toyota has taken massive strides to improve their product and reputation after the massive recalls they had a few years ago. Tyven's Altima is also a very reliable car. Subaru's have remarkably high resale values for anything under 10 years of age. It's fucking weird.

Just finished getting it fixed for $3000. $1800 profit and a new post to replace the 90 year old dry rotten one that was in there.
