Yeah, trolling has never been about complicated logic and cleverness, either. Proof is in the pudding, as they say, and he is an excellent pudding chef.

What have I done!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
It was not my intention to trigger Aks and for that I am sorry.
I'm sorry
I don't watch football with the fervor that I watch other sports. So even if I do start posting in those threads (barring the Super Bowl, I was fairly active there) you won't see me much anyway.
I used the power of the internet to find a circuit I could walk in my neighborhood that didn't include any 10% or higher grades (infuriatingly difficult, shit's hilly round these parts). Got a nice little 1.02 mile circuit which I successfully walked today. Murder on my legs cuz I'm so out of shape, but at least it didn't destroy my back, and was manageable.
Have a wedding to go to in a couple weeks, so I figured I needed to try on what I planned to wear to see if it still fit(lost 60lbs). I tried on the blue sport coat I'd planned to wear and it was huge on me. Every suit/blazer/etc. was easily 2+ sizes to large, which is an ok trade off imo but I didn't really want to spend a lot of money replacing clothes when I've still got a bit more to lose. I had remembered seeing Belk still sold the same blue sport coat(ya ya off-the-rack pleb, etc.) I'd purchased a year+ ago, so I brought it in and they had a zero problem no-receipt exchange policy. I was able to update some of wardrobe without spending a dime.
Found out today that I will receive a $2,000 retention bonus for not being fired or not quitting in November, effective for people who were hired before this past monday.
This company seems way too damn good to be true.
Saw kids in the hall live and Jesus Christ. That was so amazing. Every joke felt like it was made for me to find it hilarious. I love offensive humor like that. What made it better was there were two chicks beside me who barely laughed because of the shit they were saying. Would never expect something I watched when I was ten to make me laugh that much as an adult.
My company is about to dole out its last payout for its retention plan in a few months. Scaled up based on how long your tenure was when the plan went into effect. Come final payout, my workplace may become a ghost town or assets may be sold in a few years as the IP is sold to the highest bidder. Only reason it hasn't happened sooner was because the original owner of the company negotiated this retention plan in the tune of $75 million total over 3 years that pretty much came out of his pocket (sold company for $1 billion)
I was not able to snag a permanent job at the school I am long term subbing at. Which makes me semi-bitter as I have been amazing (no need for modesty, if you guys could see how much I've been rocking this shit you would agree). With that said, I got accepted into a independent school recruiting company which I guess can be hard to get in to (based on reviews I've seen). I don't pay a penny, if a school hires me, then the school pays the company. They are apparently the go-to place for finding jobs at private/independent schools. So I am pretty stoked that even though I didn't get a job at this school, it is very likely I will be getting placed somewhere soon.
Well that sucks but it looks like it's going to work out for you in the end.
I enjoy hearing your stories (and the stories of other teachers throughout various social media outlets) about your experiences in the classroom and getting jobs. It makes me so excited to graduate and get into it!
Super good luck to you Ksan. I like the teaching stories too and hope it works out for you.
Thanks ladies! And hey in a few weeks it is summer vacation, so I'll actually get to post more often for a few months.
Also, aks, here is the recruiting website link:

I never heard of it until I worked at the school I am at. A lot of the teachers got hired from using it. It never hurts to try it out. It is not like you are forced to accept job offers or anything.
I will say working at a private school spoiled me from public schools. My largest class is 17 kids, and they don't take the state tests. (not to mention a ton of other perks).
Granted, beggars can't be choosers, and if I got a job offer at a public school I'd accept in a New York minute. But I think if I did, I'd still try to apply to private schools.
