I've been a big fan of the Real World/Road Rules Challenges for years now and my favorite competitor has always been Wes from Real World Austin.

Currently I'm trying to start a business and have been given the opportunity to pitch the idea to a startup incubator which will give me access to all of the major investors in the area.

Well it turns out that I have to make my pitch to Wes himself. Not sure if I should be excited for the opportunity for my business or nervous that I may bring up something from the Challenges that he doesn't want to talk about.

We live in an old apartment building so we don't have A/C. We are in the bay area California in the hills so it's been barely mid 70s here. It says decent until about 330 to 4pm when the sun beats down on our side of the building heating it up.

Can't in the living room due to the lack of space, so could only use it in the bedroom really. We've done well with fans, just days if it's super hot we go to the pool downstairs or go see a movie. Average year may have 2-3 days where it's just unbearable to be in, and if it's on a weekday I'm at work anyways.

And as for my random win.
I was walking by and saw a red head with a couple of others next to her so being the spontaneous guy I am I held up a heart with my thumbs and forefingers fingers.
To which I got a smile and I kept walking for a couple of seconds until I turned around went back and opened the door.
"Yeah, I was just walking by"
I got a "yes, it made me happy"
Gave my typical seemingly autonomic grin and said "I'm glad".
In a few moments I was invited to dinner with these four nice Portuguese women, and had a lovely evening after as well when the group split

Maybe not 1 fan, but 2 definitely can. I hate the "fake" cold feeling of A/C, even when living down in florida. I got myself 2 smaller fans, set them up in front of me (one to the left, one to the right), then enjoyed the glorious cross-breeze of them both. Bigger win was only having an electric bill of like $20 a month.

I really only run my AC at night when I'm in bed, and mainly because I just can't sleep unless I have a thick blanket on. I turn it off basically as soon as I get up and I'll really only turn it on again if I start cleaning or if I work out or something.

But I am basically cold-blooded.

Conversely I delay turning on the heat in the late fall / early winter as long as possible and, for awhile growing up, did not have heat in my room (converted attic not a part of the HVAC) and slept under 3+ blankets so I am very very used to being cold and leave the AC on 24/7 march-october in a temperate climate.

Sounds like you'd love living here in northern canada sepukku. I definitely need to pull the reverse migration when I'm old; fly north for the summer and south for the winter.
