Told my son if he didn't stop pulling books off the bookcase I would smite him down for being insolent. He's now walking around the room shouting smite. That's my boy![]()
a win for brill is that his kid survived long enough to shout, with the murderous wife and all
Will be headed to LA tomorrow for the first time (and consequently the West Coast for the first time) to visit old friends and family. Mimosas on the beach, can't wait!
yah how did that happen
While getting in line for a ride at Disneyland today the cast member hands us a lanyard to give to the last person to gauge wait time accuracy.
The win part is him saying "It's dangerous to go alone, Take this" as he hands it to us.
Fail if you didn't hold it over your head and make the Zelda fanfare.![]()
hey man if you are happy i am happy. I kill myself if my commute is longer than 40. maybe im just a snob tho.
I'm the same way. I'll leave extra early to avoid the worst traffic times of the day, then just chill at my destination for a while if I'm too early. Generally, that's me going to class, so I'll have my laptop anyway. I'd rather be two hours early to class than sit in traffic for any length of time.
Once I get more settled in, VRE is exactly what my brother-in-law has been suggesting to me. It's a direct line from Gainesville to DC, definitely going to look more into it. And just as you suspected I took 234, then Hoady, then I believe Minnieville(?), and I'm not sure of the rest of the way. I set my navigation up to avoid highways due to all the warnings from my peers.
EDIT: The commute time is a welcome trade-off to finally working human hours. Before my hours were random as I'd have to work cases whenever they were called due to low man power. Waking up at 2AM then working 36 hours straight to work a he/she said rape case gets old real quick.
