I turned 30 and the world didn't end.
I turned 30 and the world didn't end.
I'll be crossing that hurdle next year.
youngsters
Damn, I'mma be 40 soon. What the fuck.
Turned 27 two weeks ago, three more years.....
I just turned 37 in July and am one of the oldest on my team. Everyone else is like fucking 21. I can still drink everyone under the table though. I get asked often how I'm alive lol.
I'm 34, but I get mistaken for much younger all the time. At my last job, one girl didn't believe me when I told her my age until I actually showed her my driver's license. I have a fuckton of gray hairs but apparently I look 23 (according to her). Or I'll mention that I have an 11 year old and they'll think I got knocked up when I was like 14 or some shit. It's actually kind of aggravating.
I bet 10 years from now I'll still be wishing I looked like I was in my 20s though.
Whoa, I can use that one? I'm jumping on this bandwagon, me, too. All the time. Carded everywhere I go.
a lot better than ol "my first deployment was to hanoi" aks
No, my deployment was to Kuwait. I was stationed in Germany, and that's an entirely different thing.
Like I get that you hate me, but you don't have to rag on my military service considering that you are also a service member.
I don't think dicking all of Croatia is a big service to our cuntry
how you miss an obvious joke is beyond me.
it's not that i even hate you, you just get mad over the dumbest possible shit, entirely too often. You fit the stereotypical feminazi to a T. so easy to make fun of, it's hard to pass up. how you spent so much time in the military and yet have among the thinnest skin here on BG is mindblowing.
tl;drThe period that Americans refer to as the "Vietnam War" – and the Vietnamese call the "American War" – was the US military intervention from 1965 to 1973.
you're old.
Yeah I totally didn't get that joke. I was stationed in Hanau (Germany) so that's the first thing I thought of.
And as for the other stuff, I have always had difficulty picking up social cues, this isn't a new thing. I'm on the spectrum. I've never wanted to make a big deal about it here (or anywhere, really) because it doesn't affect my ability to function, but sometimes I get lost in sarcasm and joking, particularly on the internet where tone is not apparent. I guess now just because people keep saying I "don't get it ..." No. I really don't.
