Being from Texas it makes me happy to see others suffer from the heat! Although at the same time I feel bad for those without AC... I don't know how one would survive here without AC. Have a workshop in the backyard that doesn't have AC, and the thermometer broke during July. The highest it is suppose to read is 120, and it went above that one day and never went back down lol. It has been impossible to stay in there for more than 5 minutes at a time.

It's a college thing. It's an app where you can make a bunch of anonymous posts with other people in like a 3 mile radius. It's mostly people college age but you have the random old fart like me on there. They have a feature that allows you to view and post to a certain area if you set that as your "home," so despite the fact that I live 27 miles off campus, I can still view and post from my apartment if I want to.

It's kind of stupid and pointless like all internet stuff but it's amusing sometimes.

Like the abused wife who should know better, I went back to Comcast. Centurylink did one too many things that pissed me off and I cancelled 2 weeks in. Good news is though that all the Centurylink shit is free because they have a 30 day money back guarantee, and despite me being honest with the Comcast people and telling them I was a former customer, they gave me new customer deals when I signed back up. So basically I got free cable/internet for one month and now I have a better monthly deal than when I first cancelled.

Just checked into our hotel. They overbooked our room type and upgraded us to a hospitality suite. It's not even available for regular booking. Easily a 300+ dollar a night room for 85 a night
