Pictures?! POST IN THE FOOD THREAD WE NEED PEOPLES.
Reminds me of a couple weeks back. Went to Kroger to get some of the bulk chocolates they sell. Had about a pound or so stuffed into a bag. However, since the cashier didn't know and couldn't find the code, walked out with like $7 of candy for a buck because he couldn't find a manager or anyone else who knew.
I did not take pictures. I very rarely do that because most of the time I think pictures people post of their food look gross, so I imagine they'd feel the same about mine.
Fucking 900 calorie diet-buster but I don't even care man. At least the bread was whole wheat? I guess?
I could post in the food thread I suppose. I would get a lot more ideas that way.
TAKE PICTURES. POST IN FOOD THREAD. WE COOK HEALTHY THINGS TOO. HERE IS A LINK
I have seen the thread lol.
Next time, I will take pictures. I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't want pictures of whatever it looks like now.
Anyone else use shredded cheese for their grilled cheeses? I use one slice american and then shredded cheese on that. Fucking goooooey and sooo yummy.
I use a pair of slices of american, a slice of havarti, and a couple wire carves off some Kerrygold Skellig.
And I build it on a wide loaf sourdough.
It is godlike.
If I'm gonna make one, I do it right. I layer sharp VT cheddar on the outside, I take the gooey outer layer of Humboldt Fog and put that inside of the cheddar. I put the crumbly goat portion in the middle. I put it on my sandwich press with butter on the outside.
It's a good thing.
Ya'll are taking grilled cheeses to a new level and I'm ok with it. These are cheeses I don't even know!
Lol. I mean basic grilled cheese with bread, butter, and some plain American cheese is pretty good by itself. But adding different cheeses, sprinkling some shredded cheeses on the crust, putting in amazing things like bacon, etc., just brings grilled cheese into god-tier deliciousness.
You can use any cheese you'd like. I usually use a mix of cheddar (shred it), Gouda, and then something melty (goat cheese, brie, something like that.
When you're throwing it in your pan; butter in the pan and grate a pinch of the non-gooey cheeses (cheddar & Gouda in this case) on the bread before you throw it into the pan with butter. Get a that crispy cheese brittle going on the outside? MMMMMMMmmmmMMMM
Let me know when you scrubs start adding tomato.
It's not a grilled cheese at that point. Fucking pleb.
right? thats what the fucking tomato soup is for, anyway
Fucking tomato soup plebs. Keep it real with some clam chowdah instead.
