I never used Lulu much except maybe for spamming Ultima casts or Meteor? I could be thinking about FF8 as well lol, but essentially it makes me sad that X character's are basically just their limit break + quick attack

Eh, you could distill it down that far but there were definitely more effective ways to play the less and less grinding you did.

From a gameplay perspective, it was a pile of shit. I don't care about what you feel about the story. The facts will not change.
If you want to wait a bare minimum of 15-20 seconds every the whoosh for a battle every single time, feel free. That doesn't mean its good. In fact, its pretty terrible. Every 5-6 battles is a minute of your time where you spent doing nothing.
How many battles do you think you get into over the course of the game?

Then you've got the actual slow pace of the battle barring any technical issues and the whole thing feels like a slog (subjective, sure... but its factually slower than most... possibly every other FF)

Idk man, at least you could get up and pee unlike stupid summons in ff8. SPAM THAT SQUARE BUTTON, YO. MOOOOAAARRRRR POWAH.


(Though ff9 system was slow.) I liked that they put armor back in it though. And the story was amazing.

It's not really that bad. Lived in Washington half my life and it's so much that it rains that much more than it's more spread out over the year. And a lot of it is just very light drizzles. I've seen much worse flooding every year in the Bay area than I saw most the time in washington
