Don't forget how she ban hammered like half the football thread one week because we are too hostile from constant name calling of each other and not being "warm, welcoming, and inclusive" to new posters. I think that week I was like one of maybe a half dozen non socks posting that week due to her.

Forgot to post this from my experience at the VA this morning, not sure if it's win but it made me laugh, at least. So I'm sitting there in the waiting room, and I've brought a notebook with me, along with some pictures of assignment sheets on my phone, so that I can work on some final project stuff while I'm waiting. Last time I was there I was waiting for fucking ever, so I figured I'd maintain some level of productivity.

And this older gentleman sits down and he's like, "Wow, it's so rare to see someone writing these days."

So I responded, "Well, it's finals week and I couldn't exactly bring my computer, so this way I can still be productive."

Then he said (and this makes me laugh), "Kids these days, they don't even know how to write."

I just kind of laughed and was like, "True" and then went back to my work, lol.

I also noticed when Isla left, most of the Hawks fans vacated the hackey threads. I was wondering why there was a lack of "SOOO HANDSOME" during the last few playoffs.

Random win in the fact I love overhearing other people's misery.

Wife and I are walking through disneyland when we see this girl being pushed in a wheel chair either by her mother or sibling/friend. Girl in the wheelchair looks miserable and the person pushing her yelled at her "Maybe if you didn't jump off the ledge onto the fucking trampoline you wouldn't be dealing with this right now".

Yup, see that a lot. Probably one of our favorites was waiting in line for the Monsters Inc. ride, and Sully walks by. This 3 year old girl see's him, yells KITTY and chases after him and mother doesn't know whether to video tape this or go after her.

Also had another one where we were sitting on the sidewalk watching the parade. This little girl is standing next to me. I get up to stretch my legs, and she is just in complete and total awe at how tall I am.

Aww, that's adorable. I can't remember any specific moments of interaction with people while I've been there. Best friend and I basically want to create a Disney scavenger hunt or Disney bingo app or something, let people check off the types of people they see: crying kid (free space), couple in couples shirts, family all dressed alike, etc. Then again, he and I are weird and will sometimes just sit for hours resting/people watching, mostly because we have the passes and we know Disney isn't going anywhere and there's no reason to steamroll through it.

Fuck now I want to go to Disney this weekend, but I've still got finals (which I am obviously procrastinating, as you can see from my post activity this afternoon).

All the Isla-dustups that I remember spawning discussions started in poopdeck. She might have hit other regions sometimes and generally disapproved of the tone of language on the site, but poopdeck was her trigger as far as I remember.

Poopdeck back then was much more caustic and we had a lot of loud voices with crazy opinions. Isla banned many crazies and Bane has kept the peace.

Seriously people watching at Disneyland is the best. Win is we are going back for a week this Saturday and flying , but not Spirit

This is our last trip as AP holders likely for a year or two. It's a good time since construction is starting but we may hit the Haloween party and considering WDW next Christmas.

Yeah my best friend and I are not renewing our passes next year as they're doubling the prices. It's just too much to afford. He's always just covered my pass out of generosity. Once I start working again I'll be able to afford my own annual pass, but until then, it's pretty much off the table. I hope we can go at least one more time before they do run out, but I don't know. I guess it'll depend entirely on how my schedule looks as I start my internship.
