I find it easier to communicate with peers over an internet connection than face to face, that is the only point I was trying to get across.

Between this and the Anxiety in MMOs thread I swear Im gonna have an honorary psych PHD reading this stuff; like 50 people rambling on about how meeting and conversing with new people is less comfortable than hanging with your buddies of 10+ years. NO. DUH. Very large majority of society has at least a tiny bit of anxiety/stress/apprehension meeting new people IRL. Very large majority of people IRL nervous doing something important in front of a group (public speaking vs the one dude saying he wanted no critical function of group activities like being in stun rotation) where people will witness them fail if they do choke. This is all so normal and people act like they're different for feeling the way they do. IRL Fuck Ya for you - all the anxiety/introverted/etc people realize there's people out there just like them.
