Average prep time for those who passed physics quals this semester: 5-7 hours a day for at least three weeks (some up to 2 months).

Prep time for me for quals this semester: 4-5 hours for 6 days.

Passed PhD level, lol. Cant think of a bigger win than not wasting nearly as much time and also not needing to study again for next semester. Got really lucky with the quantum mechanics and stat mech questions (sm questions were essentially quantum questions also) and of the 4 e&m questions, two were basically special relativity questions which is good because fuck wasting my life learning e&m thoroughly.

Got notice that I passed PhD level 12 hours before I'm going to go in and tell my adviser I am peacing the fuck out with my masters at end of semester too, lol. Didnt even need to do as well as I did.

Pretty happy.

Jose Andres has a restaurant at the Tysons Ritz that has nashville fried chicken, the menu features dope shit from all around the country. it is fucking UNREAL. my dude i am telling you, you gotta head over this weekend. Bring the wife and the freeloading brother-in-law and whoever else. Wow and they go so hard on the pre meal biscuit game. Wow this place is just incredible and it is pretty moderately priced considering its a Jose Andres restaurant and also in the Ritz. Wow you are going to owe me so many thank yous.

My wife is going to be very mad when the new album releases. She already hates listening to them in the car when they come on during a random playlist I have.

She will tolerate Mars Volta, but I haven't actually listened to anything they released since that album after Bedlam.
