Damn I wish. Just spent 70 for a party tomorrow and I had all the liquor already.

Bout 100-150 per week at grocery store on the regular for just me and the lady.

Yeah among what we got, package of tri tip, package of prime grade sirloins, chicken breasts, chicken thighs, ground beef, and some sweet sriacha pork chops, so we have meat for days. The steaks alone was a package of four and all of them are 3/4lb to 1lb.

Went to Ruth Chris for the first time tonight. Had a fucking amazing filet mignon and some Moscato. Best part, my friend paid for it. Then we went to Distant Worlds, which was amazing.

Ruth Chris is pretty awesome for a higher chain. We had an anniversary dinner there two years ago and had this out of this fucking world lobster Mac and cheese.

Trouble is, we're getting the same things we always get, and it was only $60 a week just five years ago.

With my workmans comp fucking shit up we had to learn how to eat decent while not going broke. Truth is it's hard but we avoid most traditional grocery stores if we can now as we have better options. While it means more trips it's a huge money saver.

Now I buy on sale even if that means chicken for days. Pinterest is great as well as

I paid $50 just for the steaks I made for my anniversary dinner alone.

No regrets though, the butcher at Eastern Market is beyond reproach. Came out tasting godly.

I've been there once or twice , it's too hipster for me but I get why people go there. Sprouts , Trader Joes and Smart and Final get the job done .

Outside of that, Costco is amazing for food costs. And local markets for meats/veggies.

Fuck Ralph's and their overpriced crappy meat.

Actually, around me, we've found Ralph's to be more reliable for affordable good cuts, Vons are the stores that tend to be overpriced and meh on meat.
Though 90% of the time either way, you aren't going to see anything affordable in beef besides chuck cuts.

I only go to whole foods for a few things and when they have sales they can be pretty awesome. But not buying stuff on sale is like slitting your wrists with $20s. Like the other day they had 10 avocados for $10 bucks. I got on that real fast then saw the lady in front of me spend $80 on just food none of it meats or anything and it easily fit in one of those stupid bring your own hemp bags. I'm pretty sure I had more calories in my avocados too

I go to Super King for meat. A million times better than any of the American chain stores, and cheaper. None of the Ralph's near me have a butcher station. It's dumb.

There's a procedure for lost and found items. iirc, it involves turning it in to police, waiting a while for it to be claimed, then going and claiming it yourself once it's officially abandoned or whatever.
