Driving home I got cut off by some guy in a Subaru speeding down the freeway. What he didn't see was the chp officer camping for speeders and promptly nailed him. I love watching shitty drivers get pulled over.

My only win of the day is that I was heading southbound on 19 this afternoon instead of northbound, because they closed northbound down and it was backed up for about 6 miles (probably longer, if I hadn't exited and kept going).
I got a thesis defense date. Graduate school is finally coming to a close.
Nice! Good luck!
Went to chipotle for dinner. Had to wait two minutes for them to finish cooking and cutting the steak, got my burrito for free.
I eat so much chipotle that I'm sure I have an immunity at this point
I was quite enjoying the smaller lines at Chipotle with all the uproar. People acting like it was happening at every location lol
E.Coli happens every fucking where , it more depends on how unhygienic or how bad the ingredients were tainted.
Most people just get an upset stomach and never know they have it anyway. I used to love Chipotle but their chicken is so tough now![]()
Not real big on fast food anyway, but the amount of cases they had was ridiculous. I can see having a slip up, but they just couldn't control it. It was a simple joke btw.
So my fiancée and I got our tax returns in, they were both bigger than last year and larger than expected. Enough for our honeymoon in its entirety and we didn't even use tax returns in our wedding/honeymoon budgeting plans which is awesome.
Not really a win but it kind of is, we got our Citi simplicity mastercards in today as well. No apr on purchases for 21 months. Decent apr after that too, shits insane. A credit card isn't an accomplishment but fuck thats a long time.
Real win is never needing to pay interests on credit cards!
A lot of companies been doing longer no interest terms. I got one back in October that offered no interest for 24 months on purchases and for 18 months on balance transfers that I used to pay off a balance on a card I had.
Cheap netbook off craigslist came with XP which seemed like too much for it. Put lubuntu on it, much smoother OS but there is a conflict with the broadcom wireless drivers preventing wi-fi use after install! No big deal the help documents said, just hook up ethernet and download them. But I'm stealing wi-fi! After a bit of digging I was finally able to find a message board post that worked with files to put on an sd card and the commands to install.
I've had my Citi Thank You card for five years and they have been awesome. Them and Capital One have been the best I've ever dealt with. The latter I had an issue with a purchase (long story) and they didn't ask any questions and immediately charged back the entire amount (only needed one out of four items). That's customer service.
Was thinking about getting a capital one to use in Europe in the summer to avoid foreign fees, good to know they rock.
Cap 1 is generous with their limits and as I (and now Astylla said) are great with customer service. I had many issues with BOA and Chase as well as local creditors in the past, but Cap 1 and Citi have been on point. Would highly recommend.
