Yah, If i saw a yardsale and say, someone was offering GTA5 or something for 5$, I might buy it and not really feel bad as they probably know they're selling cheap... But 30 games her grandkids were selling and she probably priced wrong? See, now the grandmas going to be happy for the kids that their stuff sold, but when the kids find out its 25$ they're going to be upset at grandma making grandma sad when she was happy, and depending on how old the kids are they could have been selling those to afford a new game and well that ain't happening now. Sorry Johnny, no christmas this year, heres your 25$ for 100$ or so worth of games, hope you weren't saving up for anything important!

my random win of the moment: job tells im one of the temps thats most likely being made permanent in a few weeks and that i'll go from 10 a hr to almost 19 a hr. Also got a new gf finally after being single the past year. parents thought it was funny at first when i told em its a black chick. they werent laughing when i brought her home lol. the parents like my gf though and her parents like me so far so its all good.

should also mention 19 a hr in NC is pretty damn good fucking money. can live pretty decently here on that

So if you've been keeping up with the random fail thread; I had about $300 worth of parts removed off of my bicycle on Thursday(as it was locked with the lock Tyche bought me and they definitely weren't getting the frame). My backup bike, (gdi it was BG bike r.i.p.) was stolen a month ago because my uncle left that shit on the front porch. So I went from having 2 bikes, to half a bike.

I had a little money, so I made a gofund me page with a goal of 200 and didn't even expect to get that, tbh; I just wanted to try to recoup a little bit of my losses, if possible (especially since I'm on the process of moving, bank took our house, they're trying to pay us to leave early so they don't have to go through eviction)

That said, I got a very overwhelming response (Big shout out to Abandon by the way, my nigga 4 lyfe). The goal itself was almost tripled.(and a few donated via paypal instead) Even after the goal was met, people were still chipping in, even when I said that I had enough. Then, one of my friends had posted about my shit getting stolen on my city's reddit page and some guy PM'd him and offered a pair of rims, that came with decent tires and tubes. It was from a fixed gear bike, so I had to convert it to work for my own, parts/labor was only 57 since I had the rims to start with (most expensive of what went missing). I was able to get the bike back up and running and between the rest + the bit of money I had to start with, I found the absolute sweetest deal on the planet. Pinarello FP2; one owner, only put 65 miles on it. Guy bought it for his wife and she fell off a few times and gave up biking. Been in their garage for 3 years. This bike had an MSRP of 2,500; and even looking for them used go for around 1,800; was able to pick it up for a bit over 700 (would never have another chance like this in over a million years)

So thanks to all the awesome people who went far above and beyond what I had ever asked for. Was planning to keep this cosplay under wraps until Metrocon, but I had to bust it out a bit early on this one.
